Not Sure What To Do

My maternity leave is up soon, some time in July. It would be really expensive for me to put my kids in a daycare or hire a sitter even though we would only need one for about an hour between the time my husband leaves for work and the time I would get home. It would almost be cheaper for me to stay home. I'm wondering if there is work I could do from home. I'm also thinking of only going back to work 4 days instead of 5 so I have more free time with my kids. If I could learn to make our money work right for us I think it might just work out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could try asking family members if they could help you on the days you need babysitters. Childcare is so expensive these days plus you don't know who you can trust. I would try family.

That's the problem I can't think of anyone. My husbands mother is 80 so that's a big huge no. I wouldn't trust her though she would say she could. My mother works the same place I do and would work the same shifts, so she's out.

Honestly, I make more staying home with my kids than I did when I went to work. Which is why I chose to stay home. I have a Childcare Business in my home and I make just as much with that, actually a little bit more than I did when I worked outside of the home. And it was perfect because I get to stay home with my kids and Home School them. :) I made the perfect decision for my family.
