nowadays we have kinds of pressure working on collegestudents:economic pressure, parental pressure. along with econoic pressure goes parental pressure. inevitably, the two are deeply intertwined.as a college student,we really don`t have enough money to do what we want to do.the money we should pay for school.the money for the travel.we do not have a permanent occuption.to the contrary, i takes much time and energy to do some part-time job.even more, the parents for pushing their children too far.they ask for the best without thinking about what the thoughts in children`s mind.in a short,we depend on parents to balance the economic pressure and parental pressure.

Yes you are right these types of pressures disturb us so, what can I do? You should do some part time work which solve your problems but as you say that you must have energy to do work so, you must take care of your health and take foods which give you more energy and less expensive and you should take some fruits also and peaceful sleep. Feel free from all tensions. Leave these things on GOD and do your work.

Just take a step at a time. Prioritize your task and have a balance in your life between study and recreation. Perhaps different approach towards situation and pressure will give a better result or outcome. If during break, you may look for part time job to earn some income for the next semester break vacation. Always remember to focus on study first as it is why you are in the college in the first place. Once you got your degree, you are ready to climb the ladder in your career and improve your economy status.

Yes parents are not understanding what their kids interest. They feel that all the kids must excel in education even though they are studying in average schools are where ever. I have seen many parents do not pay attention to sit with them and teach them in their subjects. In the morning go to school and after returning back they have to go to tutions and study more. In this way their won't be any bondage between children and their parents. First their will be pressure to perform well in education and then with that education one has to get a good job. In my case I did not get financial help when I got a great opportunity in my life. I was not doing any part time job to take advantage of my opportunity. What ever I missed it and my life became average one. This cycle of pressure will come to anyone in this world and it will always be existing.

when we can choose our own life to be different? maybe parents all over the world have same thought so we be the same .we take the foot in a road ,although thousands of it, the destination is same exactly.whatever we look forward to, the result is average. i don`t want to be an average one,at least follow my heart.one of my schoolmates always said, you never run away from the cycle.i don`t care.i mean the process.the poin is what you learn and feel.coz people will die,we will do nothing but wait.

hello yajie, College life is good experience for after college life. We will succeed and have goals. Our realistic goals will be accomplished despite economic pressure. Money worries can ruin our success and rob us of our chance to learn. It is our enemy. Learning how to dealing with these pressures is an education too. yours sincerely, the poor struggling student of life educational institute of hard times

hi, You will with this attitude. I agree when we learn this and can make it happen then we have learned something worth something. It is not an easy learn though because I find I can give in to pressure and suffer because of it. My place is not to conflict with others though just to be able to do my things.

In my experience, college life experience is irreplaceable, I do not think to much about financial issues because i know I cannot help my parents about that since I have no means yet to help them... In my mind that time is to do good in school, to finish my course, study hard to atleast compensate the effort and sacrifice of my parents of providing my needs in school, with that I atleast feel that I already help them in my own way.. Based on my experience, life is difficult when you are working already, coz you are obligated to provide your own needs and atleast help your family specially your parents..and seriously not all job is good paying job.. in looking for a stable job you will still need patience and effort to have it.

I think college life is the best life. Every part of life there might be pressure and you should try to relax and take life as casual and not feel pressured. I think you should try to concentrate on education and should try go for part-time job if you can to earn additional income.

In my home country further education students aged 16 to 19 years old get their course fees payed for by their local council. They are meant to live with a parent these days. In my days of that I had a study bedroom at the further education where I studied. It is much harder for students aged 18 years old or older at university. They have to pay their course fees and their living expenses. Many need to get student loans. In my days I got paid for course fees and a grant to pay my living expenses. I think being a higher education student now it would be very stressful indeed. He or she could get in lots of student debt. Parents pressure their child to do well academically. When the student has the qualifications few professional jobs are available. Many people are unemployed.

That is true. It could really be a burden to be in college and be working for your own school needs too. I am just so fortunate that my parents were able to send me to school without me having to work for my college education. And I will be forever grateful for all their sacrifices for me.

You are right about the pressures. Nevertheless most people would say that college life is the best time in our lives. It's understandable if you find it hard to digest for now. When you have graduated and started your own career in the society, you may then have a different opinion about it. I wish you all the best :)
