Hi Guys, Well i am a user of Nokia N70 for over 4.5 yrs now.. But some 15days ago an horrible incident happened.. My phone accidentally fell from staircase.. :'( I Ran down and lifted the phone to find the screen white with some horizontal gray lines and a dark border at the left side of the screen.. The Screen was Flickering either.. (See the photo). I immediately removed the battery, Sim card and MMC. And put them back again but saw no change.. The Screen was same white but the phone seemed working fine as i could receive calls !! (Little smile). Then, i tried to format the phone (by pressing keys - Call green button and * and 1, thinking that might solve my problem.. I did this without Sim Card.. But when i restarted, it was same white screen.. Since the display was white, i could't know whether the phone was formatted or not.. But when i put back my sim and tried, i was not able to receive call at all and got switched off warning from other phone.. Now i am stuck.. Dont know wats the problem.. Display IC gone or the display screen itself..!! Thou i am planning to buy a new phone ASAP, but i want this phone back in good shape as this is my Dad's phone (He is no more in this world).. And i want to keep it alive in his memory.. Pls Help.. I am Adding the photo for reference..

You're probably better off just buying a new phone since something inside it definitely broke.

Wow.. How many flights of stairs did it fall from? I had a Nokia N70 and it had fallen too but nothing like that happened. Perhaps it's the phone's time, friend. Anyhow, I think it's best if you have it checked to a Nokia Service Center. Perhaps it's just the screen or perhaps it's the board altogether. Good luck, I hope you'll have it fixed. Otherwise, you can just keep it as a memorabilia. Have a great mylot experience ahead!
