Well this is my dad's last year as he would be retiring from his job next year as he is leaving no stone unturned to travel as much as possible. We have already traveled to Swiss n Paris and would be heading to Australia n Singapore in the coming months. we have already covered the entire of India, so our next destination would be covering outside India within our budget. i wish if he would have retired some years later but then we have to accept the reality and move ahead. But as of now, we are all very excited for the upcoming trips and hope we will have a great trip before his retirement. he said that he do not want to think about his retirement and wants to enjoy his days up to that. hats off to his spirit. What r your thoughts about this? Plz do give your valuable thoughts!

Oh then your dad is also retiring like me. that's great to hear about this but your dad is retiring quite earlier as compared to mine. i am glad to hear that he would be traveling as well after the retirement so that he can erase off the emotional content attached with his job. what about u, r u accompanying him or not in the trip?

How great it is! You family have traveled a lot! And I believe your dad deserves it after many years' work. Nowadays many people intend to retire early so that they still have the time and energy to enjoy life. I wish I could retire soon as well, though I just entered the work force. However, as long as I have the time and money, I would go travelling regardless whether I'm retired or not.

My father could learn a lot by your dad's example, since retirement all my father does is sit on his backside from the moment he gets up to the moment he goes to bed and watches television non-stop! I admire your dad's spirit and wanting to spend his time travelling, there is so much to see and so much to do, and so many many places to visit. Sounds like a wonderful adventure to me.

Ha ha ha, nothing like dear, actually my father has been a travel freak like me from his earlier days so whenever he gets any opportunity to travel he never let it go from his hands. so he is making sure that he travels as much as possible before his retirement, plz do not get your father wrong, may be he wants to chill and relax as much as possible so he is not active like before.

Yes he would be retiring by the end of this year so he is leaving no stone unturned to travel as much as possible, may b because he would be having no passion for traveling as he was having before. Besides we are very much looking forward to our upcoming trips and hope that we would have a memorable trip.

Hi wow covered entire India. sounds great. But travelling outside India do cost much. How you people are managing? This is possible only when people earned really well or born rich. Anyways hats of to your dad he is good spirits.

ha ha ha, nothing like dear friend, we r not ultra rich people, it is that my dad gets a good salary and he does some savings that contributes to our traveling. Besides as u have said he is always in good and positive spirits and that plays an important role in inspiring him to travel and explore places.

That's wonderful that your Dad is doing so much traveling. I know a few guys who have retired and after a few months they got part time jobs. I guess it's not easy for a man who has worked all his life to just stop working.

Yeah you are right, he and we have been doing a lot of traveling as it is his last year at office. Besides as u have mentioned part time jobs are also available for the retired people but i think it is not possible to expect much from them at this age to work like the younger lot. In my dad's case it wont be easy for him to retire since he has worked for so many years.

Since you had already covered the entire India continent, i assume you and your dad can only look outward now in all your future travel plan, India is already in your palm, the next one can be any one outside India, no where on earth is impossible for you and your dad to reach anymore with every stone had turned by you inside India. It must be quite an exciting event coming your way as your father is planning to travel as much as possible before he retire from his work, you get to go along with him sound like great news of a life time. What can i think, you should feel happy about it.

Sounds good to me. So, when are you going to visit The United States? It is a big country with a lot to see and do. Each state and region has its own personality and culture and scenery. Your dad will have a lot of time on his hands. You could travel west to east and north to south.detouring to Canada and Mexico. I hope that your dad enjoys his retirement and is able to do a lot of traveling.

Yeah dear thanks for informing about the United States, it would be a pleasure to visit a country as big as US. we have not planned yet but still we would love to go there and explore each and everything associated with US. Besides it is not possible for my dad to travel all the time as he is into a profession where few leaves r given so he takes leaves forcibly and then travels.
