Plugged ears

I am getting a bad cold and my left ear had been plugged for almost a week now. It is making me feel uncomfortable and I could not sleep well at night. Is there anything I can do to make this go away?

When you suffer a bad cold that more than three days, you should see the doctor, maybe it is a symptom of other disease. Usually, cold take place about three days and it will go away if you take enough rest and take medicine. Keep your health friend, see the doctor. Have a nice day.

Yes I have seen a doctor and took antibiotics. My cold has subsided since last week but my left ear is blocked still. I no longer blow my nose but it won't go away still.
