Last night i attended a party where our former high school batchmate has invited us. When we arrived at her mom's big house, we asked what's the occasion, and she said the other family members arrived from abroad. Oh, we said i think we are out of place, but she said no, because there are very few guests and relatives. But our group enjoyed it because we were in one big table. The foods were plentiful and the drinks abound. If you can see the attached pictures, these are the wines in small shot bottles that we drank. They are from abroad, where our friend just came for a vacation. All of them tastes so good , specially the Battery Nipple , which is actually wine with butterscotch. I was a bit tipsy when we went home at 11:00 p.m. And we were given some of those wine shots for take home, so tonight i will be chilling them, for husband to taste. Let's see if he likes them.

. I would enjoy and spend some quality time first with my baby. I know she'll grow up soon and by that time I could enjoy those.

I missed a lot of reunions especially with batchmates, shoolmates and even with our relatives due to different reason. But sometimes I avoid attending an occasion when I know that I can't join the group especially when it comes to drinking- I don't drink. So, I only attend a party having drinking session with closest friends who understand that I really don't take a sip. Coz I don't want to being tagged as KJ

Well, you can just sip a coke or an iced tea perhaps. Your friends will understand you. What is important is you join them in the party. So , even social drinking , you don't do jaiho? It was just a social drinking for us, since most of us are girls, with only one man (the husband of the newly wed batchmate ) and a gay as boys.

Like what I said my dear, I only join with the closest friends who knows me. Yah, actually those who knows me well- they prefer coffee for me (hahahaha) I seldom drink softdrinks either (iced tea is fine with me) but coffee or chai will do best for me. Don't worry D, we can have some drinking session with other mylotters (bhabycatch, lyn, and the rest)

So you had a grand time last night. That's great. We need to be out with friends every once in a while. So how did your husband like it?

The combination looks tempting! I'd try to find it from our local stores!

Some people just want a party to be merrier, so it is not weird for them to invite you to the party and this also means that your former high school batch mate treated you people as friends. It is always great to attend to some private small parties as you may have the chance to taste something different.

Well, it was a chance for our batchmate to introduce his boyfriend as his husband. We were surprised because they are already 50+ . They married in the US and has just gotten back from there. So the small shot glasses with different flavors are actually from abroad. And you are right, the foods are different. There was a roast beef, that was so delicious and cooked by the husband!

I also attended a party last night. My friend celebrated her 18th birthday. We had fun because we had a little reunion of our group on high school. We really missed each other because we got busy on our studies. Last night was not enough for our gathered stories.

A party like this that reunites friends can indeed go deep into the night because everyone wants to catch up with one another's updates. Well, it can be continued in a different date and venue should we like it.

A rather strange kind of reunion, but what the heck, friends are friends, and when there is an occasion, it is always fun to bond, in good stride, with cheers! Hope the hubby liked the taste.
