The Church of God is Moving...the Gospel is Being Preached Aggressively

I came from a big church in our country's capital city before moving to a different location in the province for marital reasons. I had difficulty adjusting because I had been so used to revival meetings, huge choirs, evangelistic crusades, cell teaching, discipleship and visitations and the different ministries I was involved in. For several months I struggled and often locked myself in my room to drink of the Holy Ghost and just enjoy being filled. The church I am a member of at present is a missionary-sending church that loves the Lord Jesus so much but lack the system it needs to pastor everyone in the congregation. I am involved in the carecells/caregroups. And we've multiplied to become four groups. I lead this huge group in praise and worship and I plan to do guitar lessons so everyone could worship the Lord during their daily Time Alone With God. Right now, our church is into active discipleship that is very likened to active networking of disciples-disciplers. And our senior pastor would always encouraged us to bring as many friends as we can every Sunday service. Because of this movement, we will have to add another service schedule on Sundays because we look like sardines already during all the three services. We have water baptized a lot of new Christians. The ongoing discipleship training is such a great help. So despite the obvious lack of pastoral staff, the volunteer leaders and missionaries from other countries are actively involved in the things of the Lord. God is awesome! The Holy Spirit keeps touching hearts and moving us to be bold in witnessing. We all give Him the glory. How about Christians here at mylot, do you also experience the same mighty move of the Holy Spirit in your life and in your church?

I don't worship the church (the 'swollenness,' "church" from Greek kyriake (oikia), kyriakon doma "Lord's (house)," coming from the Greek kyrios "ruler, lord," from PIE root *keue- "to swell" ("swollen," hence "strong, powerful"), I worship Our Father. And I don't fool myself into thinking the Holy Spirit does ANYTHING; the Holy Spirit resides within each person, & THEY move---'living & breathing & having their being' UNDER ITS INFLUENCE. The Gospel doesn't do anything either---it doesn't ever change. WE each might change our VIEW of The Gospel (I might think it means-the painful travail of the mother bearing the next Anointed One one-minute, -the painful road of suffering down-which Our Brother bore the instrument of His payment-completion to pay-off our natural-sin debt the next minute or -a metaphor for the cosmological interactions that brought-about life as we know it), but we don't change The Gospel.
