I am so bummed that we are getting rid of our Satellite dish today. :( It has been over 20 years since we have had a satellite. But it is tooo expensive for dish and directv and cable!! We were paying over 100 a month, and we didnt even have any premium channels like HBO or Cinemax..... I can think of alot more things to spend the money on. I need to go to radio shack or Walmart to get some kind of box to be able to get the local channels, since we have an old TV. What do you guys think of the shows on the local channels. I am looking for some good shows to watch now. Thanks

WOW really!! I just got Direct TV and found I cut my bill by more than HALF from what I was paying Comcast. My monthly bill is $65. I did have a special where I got the movie channels for free for the first three months..but than ended. But luckily with Direct TV ..they give many free previews..like right now HBO has been free for the past two weeks.
