Bragging101 -- You Need It

I just saw on my Facebook timeline, someone posted a screenshot of her paycheck. It's not even that high. I don't get it. Is she bragging, or asking for charity? I've checked her profile and it even got me thinking how we became friends. Then I saw a series of brags in a form of status updates, probably directed to someone specific. I can't get over the fact that she brags wrong. Didn't even think that anybody could go wrong with bragging. It was so wrong and stupid I'm compelled to teach Bragging101 for free.

One of the most annoying statuses on facebook is bragging (lols) I just ignore those ones- well it's their life and if that is what make them happy so be it- they're not causing any trouble with anyone (just annoying statuses- hehehe)

Yep, friggin' annoying. I just noticed that there's an unsubscribe button near their post. You can actually unsubscribe from their updates while maintaining your friendship. Guess what, I just did that.

I have a former High School classmate who has been posting all his trips around the world. He usually goes out of the country 7 times in a year. He once posted the letter he got from a credit card company which stated that his credit limit was increased to 2 MILLION PESOS! and of course, all his Louis Vuitton shoes were not to be forgotten.

Lol. That's pretty conceited. I've always found too much pictures about travel too boring. In fact, traveling is only exciting when you're the one doing it.

Years ago I reconnected with an old childhood neighbor on Facebook. She married someone from the US and has stayed there for a long time. It was good to know she has traveled many states in the US. I don't mind pictures of her travels as I do travel myself yet only been to two states in the US. However, I think she went overboard by posting her US passport even though she blurred the passport number. There was really no need to post those even jewelries that she has, unless of course she is selling her jewelry online. She wasn't selling them, she was merely showing off.

Lol. She uploaded her passport? What's the use of that? That's just over the line. It's like saying having a passport is special. That's just my opinion, though.

That's facebook! People seem to login just to brag for whatever happened to them or whatever they get.

Hi ! Yes some people used facebook as a place to showcase the things they wanted to show. Indeed it is a form of bragging already . Some are so innocent that their intention is they just wanted to express and share their happiness to the whole world but some really made it as a place to be humbug. Even unnecessary small things , still they will publish it. Hope this kind of people will realized that humility is always the best policy.

I don't think they'll realize that until someone makes them. They're completely oblivious of what they're doing. It's okay for me if they're bragging about something that's completely okay to brag about, but if it's something totally off, some of my strings are being struck.
