Just Had a Buffet of Pasta

Pasta Buffet - Afriques is an Italian restaurant that is popular here in my province. It started its buffet of pasta several years ago already but we just went to dine there four or five times only since last year. Their pasta is yummy and the sauces are very good. The picture shows my plate with three kinds of pasta (long spaghetti, penne and colored curly pasta) and different toppings with respective sauces.

Who wouldn't want a pasta a day? Moreover, who would not want a buffet of pasta once in a while? Today, we decided to try another Italian cuisine which is actually popular here. It's an affordable buffet consisting of a variety of pasta, toppings, cheeses and sauces. You can make a play of pasta, toppings and sauces and you may just combine some or everything in one plate. It really tasted good considering you may opt to just grab the healthier toppings like tuna, sardines, olives, veggies like bellpepper, tomatoes, onions, and many more. They have white sauces, meat sauces, tomato sauces and pesto. Their pizza is also superb but is not offered as buffet. The chicken menus are well-loved by the kids. The picture shows how I arranged three different pastas and a mixture of toppings and sauces in one plate. Yummylicious really.. Have you ever tried and loved a buffet of pasta? Are you like me who seems to not get enough of pasta and would always have pasta everyday?

I have not come across a buffet of pasta. Anyway, I cannot have much of pasta as it will be very filling for me. It is also not my favorite food. However, I usually go for other buffet food occasionally.

I love pastas. We used to go to a pasta and pizza buffet in las vegas. I miss that. We dont have those here in Mexico.

I've not seen a pasta buffet restaurant specifically around here. Now a place like CiCi's pizza does have a section of pasta they don't have much choice as it's more like a side dish so you have just pasta and red sauce that's it. Pretty much what OCB has as well, but I imagine I could get creative with it. Though I tend to stay away from pasta because if I go out I want to go somewhere to get things I can't normally make on my own at home.
