after the much discussed suspended coffee, i would like to share a story of understanding and trust that a restaurant owner (especializing in pizza) bestows upon his clients in his neighborhood in naples, italy. he got inspired by a previous incident in which a man was robbed of his take home pizza right upon leaving the restaurant. the thief didn't get the wallet, mobile phone, etc. he just took the pizza. he realised that hunger can make people commit crimes. as a show of solidarity, he lets his customers have pizza even if they do not have the cash right away as long as they pay him within eight days. sounds good, huh? what can you say, my lotters?

This is a good way of doing business unless he has the upfront capital and good loyal and honest customers. I hope he will not be played out by those bad hats!

his customers should really appreciate this. very few businessmen would engage in such a daring venture. there are so many dishonest people in the world that most of them would be afraid of getting duped.

I believe he operates his business base on trust. The real pizza lover will surely like it very much to have such a wonderful credit line. I hope he is not being cheated by the clients who would run away with his pizza and never get paid. These are probably not the pizza lover and would not go back to him as he will be barred from purchasing again.

yes, i hope his customers do not abuse him. it will take a few weeks before he can weed out the good ones from the bad. i hope he succeeds. few businessmen are like him nowadays.

It should be an example for our lousy politicians. They should make the same concessions for simple citizens and let them pay taxes later, when they have funds, rather than piling them all up together in just a few months and then adding fines when they pay late. No-one fines they government here when they pay back tax credits even years later

you're right, we don't get interest on our money if the government is late in paying tax credits.

That's a very kind thing to do, especially in this era where there are serious trust deficit issues.Overall its a good investment though, as even if half of them return to pay the money, they will be his permanent customers who will buy many times.Best wishes

i'm sure he is a kind man. he understands the financial crisis that most families go thru that is why he thought of this scheme. the first few weeks would be hard, he has to establish which among his customers are really worthy of his trust.

Wow, that is cool, I think. I think I would also like to have some credit line at a pizza place like that. Of course I will make sure that I will not go back on my word and promise of paying it back.

yes, it is important to pay otherwise the owner will have to close shop. even if he can also cover his loss if a customer doesn't pay, that customer will not be able to avail of this promo anymore.
