At a garden center with my two children we saw some rabbits for sale. The largest one looked amazing and it said he was a giant rabbit. Wow! We saw some mixed breed rabbits and I guess one of their parents was a lop.
When I was 4 years old I had a Himalayan dwarf rabbit. She was called Miffy and she was white with pink eyes. In my teenage years my sister and I each got a lop rabbit. Mine was sandy colored and white. I named her Sally. My sister had a black rabbit and he was called Tiggie.
What do you think about the different sorts of pet rabbits?

There are 40 different types of domesticated pet rabbits. I have 2 half lops both males, one 5 who is white and orange and the others 2 who is white and black/ grey. I volunteer at the local shelter and I see so many different types come through it's so amasing seeing them.

Sounds interesting. Our neighbors had black and white rabbits but do not know what type they were. And some of the rabbits were pure white, some black, and some a mixture. I remember when I was a teenager, we knew someone who had those ordinary brown rabbits - that was back in Vancouver, but do not know who it was. Very interesting about rabbits.

When I was living with my ex together we went and got a Polish White rabbit, my ex was into Buddhism and named her Schmeta, she was all white with red eyes, she was aggressive at first, but we gave her a lot of attention and put her on our laps when we were watching television and she mellowed with age, unfortunately my stupid ex was cleaning her cage out and she escaped, we never did find her.
