Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade?

What do you think of the Parade? Have you ever attended it? What is the best thing about the parade? I like to watch it with my family as a tradition and I think I like the ending every year when Santa comes to town. I think this sets off for me that it's now time to start looking for Santa in the stores.

I watch how they make the floats and the hard work that goes into it. I think it would be neat to see it in person but don't know that I would want to face the crowd and the cold.
