Did I make a big mistake putting in my cc# for a cell phone charger?

I heard about this great lipstick size charger for about ten dollars on everbuying dot com. It looks like the perfect thing to keep in my purse for emergency recharges. But when I filled out the form and put in my credit card info, it came back with an error message that the card wouldn't run. Now, I know the card is good, no question about it. But I got a different card out and ran that one. Same error message. Normally I research products and sites before buying, but I foolishly didn't this time, until after. And darn, lots of people complain about this site. Now I'm nervous about them possibly having my info and using it illegally. Shoot. Should I cancel the cards? Or at least notify the banks to be on the lookout? I think I'll do that much anyway. Peace of mind and all that. This sure has me nervous.

As much as possible, I really prefer using paypal because it protects my debit card since I don't need to give my card number to the online seller. Anyway, like what the other responder have said, I really recommend that you inform your bank about it, you can also try searching online whether everbuying dot com is a legit or scam site.

It got mixed reviews. Some people were very happy with them, but others called them scam artists. You're right. I should have used paypal.

if i was you i would notify the bank of what had happend and tell them your concerned. i think it might be a scam website that takes your details it shouldnt come up with a error. the way to know if its a genuine site is a lock comes up on the browser corner to say that the details are secure hope this helped
