In the past television may be the favorite past time of people in the world.Hence, there are people who are hooked and can't lived without television and following their favorite shows. As technology evolved there had been a lot of progress in the television business. From the black and white version of yesteryears, now here comes Plasma,LCD,LED and Smart T.V.However, with the rise of smartphones, internet and computers,do we really still need televisions? When was the time you watch shows in televisions.I have lived without television for more than a year now,and I'm fine with it.I entertained myself through the internet, playing games in my phone, social medias and of course mylotting. How about you?Can You live without a television?

This reminds me of a discussion I started more than a year ago: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2624653.aspx Myself, even though I do not watch TV much at all, I still live with 2 TV sets at home...

I, too, a filmmaker and novelist and one who loves 70s and 80s movies have lived without The Bachelor, Rafael Nadal and other television luminaries for almost a year now. I did not plan it. My budget did. And then I thought I would get more writing done if I not worship the almighty television. Soon I found I could live without Person with Interest and Suits and a slew of other time-wasting programs. Before you get excited though, I have a long break coming up and plan to see Idols and watch tennis. Still, I saved some money not tuning in.

Me too!I can live without television as long as I have my computer and Internet. We have a TV in our house but only my brother or dad turn it on to watch NEWS.I will be still needing a TV if I'm in a place without computers or when I go to my relatives house. You can't sit on someone else's computer for hours you know!It just doesn't look right!
