Hello there me and my wife are movie lovers. We love watching movies every sunday on our local cinema, but we never tried watching movie in 3d. Its not like we don't like it its just 1st the cinema who offer 3d movies is like 3 hours away from us and 2nd it is like 200% more expensive than the ordinary movie. But we are planning to watch Iron Man 3 on 3d, is it worth it? is it much more fun to watch than ordinary movie?

it is good- i just hate the glasses that we need to wear since i am not fond of wearing anything in my eye- like shades an stuff. But the effect is good. Especially if it is an action movie..

I guess it is, since it is an action packed film.. so the 3d would be awesome. It would feel like the debris and everything is flying at your face. But they say IMAX is so much better and expensive too -but i guess it;s worth the price.

Go ahead and give it a shot. You won't know until you try it. It's definitely a fun experience but I wouldn't want to watch 3D movies all the time. It can have an adverse affect on some people by causing headaches or dizziness or other problems so it isn't for everyone. But I think the majority of people don't suffer any ill affects. I went to see three 3D movies last year. They were Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, The Avengers, and Titanic. I wasn't impressed with Star Wars in 3D. I grew up with the Star Wars movies and I just think it's better in its original format. However both The Avengers and Titanic looked awesome. In fact I would say Titanic 3D is the best 3D movie I've ever seen. It already had great special effects and visuals and the 3D really enhanced it tremendously. Some people like 3D and some don't for various reasons. All I can say is go ahead and give it a try. I think it's worth experiencing at least once in your life.

Just like you, I haven't watched a movie in 3D. It is so expensive, what we are after is the story and the lesson of the movie. I think when it comes to 3D there is just a huge difference when it comes to the effect.

I love to watch movies in 3D but we don't do it that often because my husband can not see in 3D.

I have tried watching a couple of movies in 3d but i limit it to movies that are action filled and effects-filled as well, like The Avengers, Ironman and The Dark Knight. Well, I think you should really try it, it's worth the price!

I watched the 3D movies a few times. Of course the visual effect is better than the normal movies since it is much more vivid. However, I am not quite interested in it anyway. Since I am near-sighted, so I have to wear my glasses and the 3D glasses. You can imagine how weird it will be. And at that time my son also wore the 3D glasses. But the 3D glasses seemed to be heavy for children and therefore he had to hold it all the time. It is not convenient. And as you know, 3D movies are much more expensive. I rather to watch the normal movies.

I have watched a couple of movies in 3D and for me I'm not that into it. I could really do without it. When watching a movie in 3D its like certain scenes of the movie will have it look like things are being thrown at you so you are jumping or moving out of the way while sitting in your seat. Its annoying for me but maybe thats because I'm in my 50's and just not use to it. Plus the fact that they charge you alot more money for a 3D movie I can live without it.

I dont like it at all. When there is a lot of action and movement your head feels dizzy and blury at times. It is painful to watch, I dont like it at all. I dont even like movies in HD either. Everything looks like a documentary. Hd takes somehow takes away the magic of watching a movie. Some likes it some dont, I guess you have to find it out yourself.:)

I think it is worth a little extra payout. I had gone to watch Avatar in 3D and it was phenomenal. I had seen it in 2D later that week and the impact the movie had was not the same. And that wasn't because I had just seen it. The 3D movies practically make you part of the movie and I think that if you were to see such a great franchise such as the Iron man films, I think you will get a good impression of the difference 3D really makes! So enjoy! And tell me if you do go and see something in 3D!
