What's worse beyond summer

Hello Lotters,
we know that when we reach the month of March and April it's very clear that it's summber time and the heat is really there. that's why even after the holyweek some people believed that going to the beaches and resort is the best way to enjoy vacation.
they said it's bad for people this summer because heat can cause a stroke and long run, cancer of the skin. but for me, that's not the worse, the worst is that our relatives here balikbayans took vacation when it's summer while the weather they have there is WINTER. right nwo they are having hard time adjusting to the weather.

Well yes different people from different places do have their share in some ways about the weather be it being too hot or too cold in their respective places. I guess we just need to be careful there is nothing wrong if we indulge in beach once in a while to beat the summer heat but I guess too much of everything would be bad for your health.

Yeah I can imagine right now there will be throngs of people trying to beat the heat. 
In case of the middle east, summer there is almost year round since it rarely rains there. I know that they do have cold days but still very rare to have rains there. That is something not nice to see being too dry with no wet seasons.

Hello rsa101, the popular beaches here in our country is definitely crowded now a days because of the weather. but am sure not every one is easily adoptable to the weather and it can take days to adjust. the weather indeed is too much for us but other countries have even more hotter and dangerous weather specially in the middle east.

Aw, there you go again my dear brother - hehehe.
Well maybe they missed a lot about summer here in the Philippines and that is the reason why they always choose this season for spending their vacation here in our country.

I think they get envious seeing their friend here in the Philippines, posting a lot of pictures being on the beach with their families on FB, Jaiho. Specially when the beach has white sand and the water is so clear against the white sand, it's so inviting to take a swim too.

Hello jaihosis, if there's one thing they never wanted to visit is the weather that would cause them health issues and summer is one of them. i doubt that they will do this again, don't even know how she was able to decide to go on summer but she said she learned her lesson and pretty sure that she won't visit summer again but december instead.

Hiya LK.,
If they are sensible enough to keep hydrated and not exhaust themselves during the very hot hours then those people should be fine.
Me myself I don´t like sunbathing like a lot of people are doing I like the Sun but not like that.
Its not good for the skin at all at least for mine.
But everyone will do what they do and that is up to them at the very least they should maintain protection from the Suns very strong rays.
You have so many beautiful places there I was seeing a bit of Cebu the other day it was on just by chance really.

Hello Lovingangelsintead21, well it can be dangerous for us if we stick there a lot more than we should, it can cause skin cancer and a lot of complications to the skin. somethings really wrong with the weather and this is something that i couldn't afford to get used to. yes such cute and beautiful places in cebu but of course i hope they are having fun despite of the hot weather in the country

Philippines is still lucky having 37C temperature in summer while in other part of the globe, it reaches up to 50C.
Here in Muscat where I live, we are starting to feel the summer heat. I will go home to the Philippines in May to escape a month of heat here, but I think it would be worse as I can't afford an air conditioning 24/7 there.

Hello hexebella, your right were still lucky but we are obviously not use to this kind of heat as some people get sick. not to mention some suffer health complications to it. right now, i think it's affordable for people to get ice and air coolers to compensate for the trouble in terms of having too much heat.

I guess they will adjust soon enough. It's kinda crazy but I don't look forward to a winter season. More likely, I will hibernate and not get anything done then again, summer makes me lazy and I have to force myself not to take a nap.

Hello jeanneyvonne, it really gives us a lot of health complications regarding this matter and one in particular is heat stroke. we should take a bath or a shower at least twice a day and drink water more than it should. it makes us all lazy and somewhat incapable of doing our jobs. maybe one day when this weather had come to pass. People really should take care of themselves while the weather is this hot. Have you ever noticed that people are also more likely to be in a bad mood while the heat is unbearable?
Years ago my grandma who used to live in the States came home to the Philippines. She spent most of the day in her air-conditioned room. Said the heat was too much. But now that she has spent years in the Philippines, she has adjusted to the heat.

Hello cherry, i couldn't help it sometimes when there is a stressful situation, you couldn't help it. but a lot of people recently avoid getting mad because of the bad weather of heat summer. good for her that she was able to adjust to the heat after all the years of staying here. not sure my grandma would because she's just too old for the weather.

I think the effect of global warming is now being felt. If we had saved more trees and took good care of the ozone layer then would have not come to the super drastic changes in the weather. When it is summer, it is super hot, and then you just hear news that the ice on the poles are melting, causing the polar bears to die.
Hope we all take action so we would not see worse of the world :(

Hello babyEJ, they have been in the US for more than two decades and they come here every two to three years tops they are not use to the weather. most specially if the weather is extremely hot like the one we have now. there's definitely one relative that doesn't enjoy the weather and that's my grandma. some probably love the weather because of the beaches, but not them. but they are slowly adjusting to it.have a nice day

Hi,
On the contrary, people from the winter countries like our hot weather. I don't know why, maybe it is due to the severe cold they experienced they want to have hotter weather. Those who has hot weather would give anything to have cold, snowy temperatures like me. If I have my choice, I am happier not to see the sun for a year to enjoy the cold. The situation is like white skinned people to have darker ones and dark skinned people to have lighter complexion. I really find it strange. By the way, I like my brown complexion though.

Hello rog0322, but my relatives doesn't like hot weather unless they aim to go to the beaches. some people got use to the cold weather that it's been part of their lives, unfortunately they become not so use to the hot weather here. though the place they stayed has four seasons, but not as hot as in here.
