this is my favorite book..have you read it...Its the story of bilbo baggins and Gandalf befor Lord of the Rings.

I never read that, i only read the lord of the ring! Now it seems to be interesting so probably i should go for it !

I remember seeing the animated version when I was very young. Perhaps seven or eight years old. Though I didn't manage to read the book until a few years ago, after the LOTR movies came out. It is very, very good.

i first read this book when i was about 12 and have loved it ever since. it totally captured my imagination and i wanted to be a part of their adventure
