We are dog sitting for the next 4 days

My SILs parents are going on their 50th year honeymoon trip to Hilton Head South Carolina. They are leaving this evening so SIL has gone to get Fritzy. He is one of the schnauzer dogs. He's gray and so cute. He can stay in the house because he has manners, but our own dogs are not allowed in the house ever. Our one dog is a Bernese Mountain Dog. He doesn't like inside. I'm excited that Fritzy will be having a long sleepover. He has such good behaviors.
My SIL and his sister paid for their trip and even loaded a Visa card for them to use so their trip won't cost them anything. They don't even have to board Fritzy at the Vet. We are watching him for free.
Has anyone ever done something like that for you do you could get away to a nice place and have all expenses paid? Please share.

Sounds like Fritzy is going on holiday too! I remember some time ago a wonderful friend of mine knew that I wasn't earning much, not having a job, so they paid for me to have a weekend away with them in a rather nice hotel, with a double bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, the bathroom was just amazing, plus he paid for everything, wouldn't let me pay a single penny. I insisted on paying for the train fare. We had a great weekend away, it just went so damn quickly. Hope you and Fritzy have a wonderful stay together!

That was great that you could go out and have simcha a wonderful time.
Fritzy is having a good time. He's about ready to go to bed. He's gonna sleep with his auntie K and Uncle S.

I forgot to say B is one day older than J. J always teases her and says he loves being married to an older woman! They are so cute together. They were high school sweethearts.

Well, not exactly. My wife used to be the dog sitter for a friend of her. When her friend had to go to some music contests, her dog had to remain at home. My wife was the one to dog sit the poor creature. But her friend didn't want to move her dog so my wife had to go three times a day for an hour or two to walk the dog, feed the dog and spend some time with it. I think it's a good thing to have friends or family members that would dog sit for you.

Yeah it's good to have someone you trust to take care of animals. We have Fritzy with us.

Yes many time, we call it harvest time of what you have invested through sharing in the past. Sometimes we called good opportunity and sharing afforded by your love ones who was now on good financial standing

He's sleeping in his crate right now. He puts himself to bed when he's tired. He's been playing with his babies.

hi pointlessqustions my son paid for a round trip bus tickets for us to go to Walla Walla Washington to visit my
husband's parents and all the Hatley clan as they all had at least three or four children.When we got there its was just before Christmas and we stayed o e week at his sister Betty's place and one week at his brother Ralph's place. Since it was the Holidays we did not have to spend any money for food either. food either. we had a lovely time and I got to meet all his folks. I have not been back there since as I have no extra money for trips nor can I travel easily as I have to use a walker now., I do correspond with themn on acebook.

Is this the same lady who owns the house, let me get this straight you dogs can't be inside but hers can. I wouldn't be ok with that, I would be ripping some heads off. But then again I wouldn't live anywhere that wouldn't let them in the house.
