I wanted to have some short cut formula to sooth my mind, and feel it with the joy, peace, confidence, intelligent and all the good ingredients to be successful in life. I have tried the yoga for short times, but I think I have to try it for the larger times. I am on the way to become a good Civil Engineer, although I already have the degree, but still I think I have to become good enough to design any civil engineering structure, and execute it to its final shape. It is a very good profession but requires a lot of technical knowledge and a relax mind. I am a teacher right now, who teaches the students of the Civil engineering profession, so I have to be a confident Civil engineer by myself first. I need some really effective meditation and yoga practices. Where do you find them?

I would only recommend the guidance of an experienced instructor of a very high level who does not charge any fee whatsoever at any time & holds frequent group meditation sessions whose practitioners have very good results themselves. Fortunately, your country has many of these. Seek & ye shall find!

I believe that yoga and meditation is the best way to get relief from stress and provide energy to our body. I am doing yoga since 3 year and it has changed my life.

I hope that i can do yoga and it's nice to make our life relaxed.I only do meditation to make my mind calm down and i feel good each time after doing that.So hopefuly you get what you want and that's not the same for everyone.

I have done some stress management just with deep breathing and exhaling and meditating and even though I am a novice I have received some value from it. I sit on the floor or the edge of the bed, cross my legs, close my eyes, do some deep breathing very very slowly, reach my limit, and then slowly release the air in my lungs. Five or ten times and I feel better and get to my computer faster. Deep breathing has always helped me especially with soft natural sounds in the background and not hurrying the process. We want to do everything in a hurry. These breathing exercises need time.

I am believe in yoga it is really helpful.

Yoga for me would be a physical exercise, not communing with the spirits. I think with meditation as long as you are thinking about God or being calmer and using it to refresh your body and get you to think quietly it is very helpful. I do not do yoga - can't get into the positions that easily- but I do quiet down my mind and get rid of all those distracted thoughts.

I don't practice either, but believe both to be helpful in creating a healthy mind an body. I'm glad that your practice has such an effect.

Hi, I cannot comment on yoga, but have been meditating for over 13 years. Perhaps I should do some work now? In all seriousness, I have benefitted immeasurably from both my diet & spiritual practice. Do you practice yoga in a group situation as well as alone? Congratulations & keep up the good work!

It doesn't work for me so this would mean I don't believe in it or? But since it seems to work for others (no matter if it does or it's just in the mind which counts as well) there is no other option as to believe it does work. I think it's just not my way to relax or calm down or feel better.

i just recently added yoga into my workout. I do a different work out everyday to keep a balance of things. I do yoga once a week and meditation once a week. The results are amazing. I'm glad it helps you, too. whoever isn't doing these i highly recommend them!

I've been practicing yoga since a year and meditating since 3 months. Needless to say, it's working wonders. I've been at so much peace with myself. Also, my attention span has drastically increased. I can concentrate better in my studies.
