good or bad sound?

i have strange voice, it's like a little voice who age is 5 or 6 voice although i'm 18 years old. so when i'm singing in front of my friend they always said that are you crying or singing? well of course i'd say i was singing. but when i was talking in microphone and hand phone they always said that i have beautiful voice, it's like a lady. oh i'm confused now. then you mean i have to sing in microphone and hand phone? are you kidding me? so, after that i always sing in my bedroom with a little voice.

I don't think you have a strange voice. You may have an unique voice and you should capitalize on this. Perhaps you can take singing lessons and do some recordings. Maybe your records will sell like hotcakes since it is so original and unique. Just a thought/suggestion. Have a wonderful day.

Why should anyone despise you just because your singing is not up to par as far as they're concerned? Anyway, has anyone told you that? Then you should record your singing on a recording device (a smartphone will probably do) and ascertain for yourself whether you're a good singer. Or get someone else to comment/concur. Simple as that. Have a wonderful day.

It's not a bad sound for sure. Maybe it's just different. Do you watch X-Factor Indonesia? If you do, then you'll know Fatin who has a unique voice. If you like singing, perhaps you can take lessons where you can practice and discover what your best potential would be...

You may have a thin voice but if the microphone really loves your voice there is a chance you can become a singer if not then at least a voice actress.

Why you think about your voice is strange? I think you it is just a little differnt. Please don't just focus on your shortcoming. We always say the other door will wait for you when the god close one door. As you said that you have a good voice when you use microphone. So this is your advantage. Maybe you can use it, I think you can be a good singer after you got some singing lessons. Hope you have a good luck.

Hi,
Welcome to mylot. If your voice on microphone is beautiful then your voice is not strange. You should join some singing class and take training there and you will get some guidance and you will know that your voice is beautiful. You should not give attention to others saying. You should try to improve your voice.

well, having a good voice is valuable. my voice is ok but I do not know if it is that perfect of being singer... my dream was to become a singer ..lol.
