Good for a laugh

In today's news was a story about a man and his girlfriend going into a jewelry store to buy a diamond ring, while the clerk was turned away the man swallowed a large ring. No one was watching, he thought, but he was caught by the camera and arrested,
Now they are holding him in jail for the return of the ring, his diet is fiber cereal. This got me laughting, all I could do is visualize the process for the retun of the ring. For the thief, did he think at all about this return? Was he still going to give it to his girlfriend, if so who was going to clean it up and if she knew would she always remember the situation? Would this become a treasured family story yars later? Then I thought I'm sure glad I'm not the person in charge of obtaining evidence in this crime. Do you think this crime stinks?

LOL@this story.People invent new ways of stealing daily,this one is very strange though.Even if they managed to catch him and return the ring to jewelry store,who will buy that ring .After reading this i will do full research about any jewelry shop i get into ,that they don't have such rings in their collection,what if someone uses it for engagement ring and wear it for whole life

Assuming his girlfriend is innocent, how will the girlfriend accept him since he is nothing more than a thief?
Is the diamond ring so important in life? There are more important things to own: like a good character. He would probably impress a decent girl more with good conduct than with material things.
I guess the ring was too much for him to swallow afterall.

That is crazy. People do some crazy things. I guess he felt it would be worth it. Or that he could get the money from selling such a ring. Sometimes people do not think things through before they act. Now he will have this on his record.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this story. I wonder why that person swallow the ring and get this unwanted punishment. I feel pity for him. Hope his girl friend will understand him and forgive for his mistake

Great pun at the end, I like his method, it was a shame that he didn't bother to make sure there were no security cameras, otherwise he could have save himself being dumped in jail! I hope it does come out the other end and doesn't get lodged anywhere, now that could actually be serious! What a stinker

Fiber cereal? Oh my. Why do he needs to swallow that ring? And how can he return the ring if he already swallowed it? I think that a ring cannot be return but, he can pay money for it if he has money to pay for it.

I think that is one funny story. See, big brother is always watching. Now he has to pass it and return the ring. LOL. I would not want to be the person to retrieve that ring. I guess people will do anything to get something for free.

Thieves always come up with crazy act 
. If they are so professional they should have in mind and cautious of the security in the jewelry shop
