I started metal detecting as a hobby, do you have any hobbies ?

I think that a part of living a happy life is to try new things, so recently my boyfriend and I have started metal detecting as a fun hobby. We aren't doing it really to make money, just mostly for fun and something to get outside and be active, although it would be awesome to find some lost jewelry because gold prices are so high right now :). Does anyone also do metal detecting as a hobby? If not, do you have any hobbies and what are they ? What made you start it up?

my husband and i have a metal detector. well, it's actually my husband's. we intend to go out and do something with it one day. we are both not outdoor people. what i do for hobbies is my artwork and making jewelry.

No I don't do any metal detecting, as a hobby my hobby is knitting, but I don't have time to work on it right now, because I am busy earning money online, and that take up alot of my time, so I would say my new hobby is, earning money online.

Knitting is a lot of fun :) I went on a knitting craze a couple years ago. Its also very a practical way to save money because yarn isn't that expensive, so instead of buying somebody a gift for their birthday or christmas, I would just knit them some sort of item instead :) I too am trying to get back into my old routines of making a little bit of extra cash online, which is part of why I came back to Mylot after a hiatus.
