Bloody Nose

This dreaded, messy situation woke me up this morning. My son calls "Mommy!" and I look to see what he needed and curiously why he was up so early. His pillow, his face, his blanket a little red mess! Take him to the bathroom to clean him up and stop the bleeding. He's okay now. Playing toys and watching a cartoon. He's being silly and laughing. Me? I'm tired. I don't really like scrubbing the bathroom first thing in the morning and doing laundry, but hey. He's my little guy and I love him more than anything. I could be cranky but I'm in a great mood. Do you think one day, our children will look back on these times and think wow, my mom is so cool for handling this well? I hope Ryan does! I hate hearing about parents getting cranky over such things, as if the child can help it. Your child, embrace and love every moment, even the rough, and face everything with a smile!

I am sure our kids will cherish every moment that we spend with them most especially how we took care of them during their younger days. My daughter can still remember how I brush and done her hair when she's small and some times she volunteered to comb my hair. It's really nice to reminisce those happy moments with our kids.

you and your daughter sound close. That's sweet how she offered to brush your hair.

I believe during this phase of early childhood, the child will only recollect key emotional moments but not all. However, when growing up, if the upbringing was shaped with much emotion, care and love, the child will have this recognition deep in his heart and will always express back the same love for his parents.

That seems legit, it'll be hard in the later years to grasp everything from when they were young but remember the emotions they felt.
