The sun was shining so I decided to do a bit of yardwork today.
Well, no sooner than I started, a bunch of bully clouds roared up and mobbed the sun. These clouds must be lead-lined because whenever one got between me and the sun, the temperature dropped substantially.
The sun put up a valiant fight, and whenever it shone clear, it was very nice. But I gave up after an hour and a half.
Which is just as well, I suppose, or tomorrow I'd be posting once more about how my back hurts.

All Friday and Saturday it rained, virtually all day long, today was the wind was strong but at least the sun was out, hopefully tomorrow it will stay fine and dry so I can continue in my garden, and dig the next plot for my veggies. You don't realize just how much you have done till the next day when your back tells you exactly what you did do!

Exactly! Fortunately, I didn't do too much yesterday and only have the normal morning stiffness today instead of disabling pain. It's sunny here now, so I'll do a bit more today, and hopefully not overdo it. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, though.

It was supposed to get to 10° today but I think it only hit 8°. Tomorrow is supposed to hit 20°! I'll believe it when I feel it.

The currant bun (sun) is toying with you my friend.
Today the temperature has reached a rather heady 14°C. Last week it was about 10°C less than that although the sun was out more, ironically. Today we have had some rain, something we do need, funnily enough.

Our weather is crazy to. Heat on one day, a/c the next, maybe both in one days. Hope your back doesn't hurt too bad. Backaches are not very good company, voice of experience here.

Just the usual morning stiffness today. I didn't overdo it yesterday but there's always that chance today if it warms up enough. Yesterday the weather report predicted 20°C but now is only saying 16°.

Yesterday was sunny in the morning. I was cloths and hung them up on the line. 20 minutes later, its was pouring down rain. Go figure..

interesting abusing the use of sun though tiring but there is a sense of accomplishment doing the yardwork and I guess that's fun

in recent days the weather is very hot .it seems the summer is coming,in fact it is in April now.we all take out our coats and put on our summer dresses.my little nephews cry out for ice creams,their mother meets them because of the hot weather.i am also very happy as i can show my charming collarbone.hahah

hi BarBarPrz Anyone gardening today faced the same problems but at least it was mot really cold only to us who live here in Southern cAlif we shiver at 60 and 65 so more hardy people would have stuck it out but the wind was gusting which really made it seem colder too. Just do not overdo or your back will be talking to you and not nicely either

As you said, it is just as well that the weather undermined your plans. Otherwise, your back likely would be complaining tomorrow.
The weather here seems sort of springtime-ish here I think.

Yes, my back's not killing me today, but the yard isn't going to clean itself up. There's this awful maple tree out front that drops seed keys spring, summer and fall, and bits of branches all year long, not to mention the leaves in fall, from it and all the surrounding trees. I'm finding oak leaves and I don't even know where there's an oak tree around here!

So much for your idea of doing a bit of yardwork then.It seemed as if the clouds knew very clearly you have a problem with your back , they mobbed the sun purposely so that you could take a rest.

I see, the weather is also doing tug of war in your area as well. THat is practically what's going on here too. The sun finally made an appearance today but the wind is blowing so hard that clouds come and go and tries to overshadow the sun. I am feeling a bit lazy this Sunday and my planned car washing was once again pushed for another day.

this does happen alot here in mexico we have had some great weather then today it was over cast and it is very cold would i go outside to work no not today but glad you got out for a few hours here and there
