Good day Fellow Mylotters,
It is really difficult to deal and work with people who only listens to themselves. Hence, they are not open to any good ideas neither will accept things that can lead to a better result. What more if that is your boss, wow, I guess, you will really feel mad. And since they only wants to listen to themselves, thus, any idea that they will going to hear will be a bad one. And, honestly, I am thinking why those people cannot accept the fact that things change and why they cannot accept new ideas. Besides, accepting changes doesn't mean that you are a looser isn't it.

Indeed, there are some obstinate people in our life, these person don't accept ideas from other people, they always feel they are right, when anyone give some advice to them, they often return fire at once, no matter what you say, when you continue to talk with them, they wiii say: just do it, then you don't want say anything.

Yes Dear in my office i am also facing that type people who always listens to themselves. the are not listen to anyone. when i am telling something so he tell me this is not right i am telling you right option and he started ....
if am telling him truth that you are not listening to us and always giving your opinion so he is telling that you don't have capacity to listen truth, i am always telling truth.
Better option is ignore him because that types of person never accepting.

honestly, i don't have the plan to change someone else attitude, what only i am after is that, if they can somehow learn to listen though they really don't want. although this will be difficult for them, then at least to show a little gesture of listening is good enough. and besides, this person i am talking here is not a child anymore, he has his own mind, so for sure they wont really accept realization.

They are egoistic people.
They think they're perfect and everything they say and do is always right.
They don't want to listen to anybody else because they think they are superior and knows everything more than anybody does.
It's no use talking to those kind of people, rather ignore them and walk out.
Doing so- they will realize that no one is interested to listen to them.

you hit it right. the president of the home-owners association is a type of person who doesn't listen. that he always tell this line, "i am the president and i know what i am doing." i just come to think of it, he is only the association president and yet he acts like he is a president of a big institution, hence, what more if he really is, what would be his attitude on this....

Hi Some people are just like that I call them self absorbed they sometimes are caught up in their own ways of thinking that is just the way it is for many. Apparently, I am not so sure if I have had a good day today, as some bad situations happened. One of it was, the President of the Home Owner of the Association where I was working threw out a foul words to me. And it is very disgusting.

Hi, my situantion is almoust same,like yors. I have baby,but our daddy have big ego:) he thinks about himself,he more prefer to lay in bed, and have a drink with friends,then our baby future. He spend money just for fun. I think the people who thinks just about they asss will never be happy. Because one day he will understand that money can not buy happyness, but when they understands this ,its going to be late. So dont be sad about peoples who didnt care you. Find the people who obey you. Good luck!

Nowadays, there are a good number of people like this. They are not open to anybody else’s ideas. I feel that we should ignore such people. Taking such people seriously and making even the smallest effort to make them understand anything will be a waste of our own time and energy.

This is not so cool since the person who only listen to himself and never learn to be nice to others.So i'd more like to hear more advices on me and try to be better me.Well i feel so speechless while someone just never listen but to say.To be a good listener is so important.

Yeah. Boss is still a boss and he will insist what he wants. He thinks he knows all and he is perfect and as one said "WAIT UNTIL YOU BECOME A BOSS." Wow, I guess they did not deserve that position if they are not accepting their own mistakes and regret for it.

I can understand because I myself do not listen enough to others. I guess I am too stubborn and arrogant, that is something I need to work on. Needs a lot of humility to listen to others, even people whom you may dislike sometimes have good inputs well worth listening to, even though I may feel inclined to dismiss their advice.

Its the same trend evrywhere. Boss is always right and his juniors are always wrong no matter how hard they work to bring those new ideas. And then after few days boss comes with a new plan.. An original plan direct from his head thats 99 percent copy of the same idea that you brought up few days ago. Now all you can say and do is to praise and admire his inteligence to bring out such an idea or plan out

Exactly, acting this way will eventually turn this guy a looser. And if I may add, having his quite bad attitude, for sure, his conscience will surely not be at peace.
