awake for 2 days

I'm usually awake for almost 48 hours and then sleep 8-10 hours after that long day. What I'm worried about is, if there are side effects on my health? I have a very hectic schedule most of the time. And rarely that I have free days, and though i'm free for that day, my day still runs for 48 hours and not just 24hrs. Do you think there's something wrong with my lifestyle? What will be the possible side effects?

you are definitely not getting the rest that you should be getting. you need 8-10 hours every 24 hours. that is what the body needs for health. perhaps you should consult a doctor to help you with this problem. you don't want it to catch up with you.

Yes, at 10pm we should be starting to sleep since if you are still awake by 11pm you cannot sleep anymore. This is something I read while I was researching before writing up an article about sleeping disorders. Even if the irregular hours of sleep seems not to affect you at this time, when you get older there will be health problems in connection with this lost of proper amount of sleep.Hope these factoids have helped you.

You can become sleep deprived. Yes there are negative side effects of not receiving enough sleep.

It can actually be very bad for us if we are not getting the kind of sleep that our bodies need and our bodies are programmed to operate on a 24 hour day where we typically spend at least six of those 24 hours sleeping so that our body is able to recharge. Living with the schedule that you are taking right now is something that might work for you for a little bit, but as more time passes you will most likely face exhaustion and you might not be able to function at all.

I think you'd better go to the normal regular time clock for our health, for the sake of your health and i never tried to being awake for so long and hope you realize that and good for you.Probably you've already get used to that. This can may hurt your lungs and you need to check on your doctor.

You have to ask your why? Is it worth the long term affects to your health? I use to work days, midnights and it would affect my health, my body was telling me by not allowing me to go to sleep.

Whoah! That is some lengthy hours your awake. Even if your currently not feeling anything weird or complication, I am pretty sure it will have its toll in the long-run. Just take a rest whenever you have time and take some vitamins to somehow compensate for the lost energy your body has.

oh my! dont abuse much of your body even u sleep 8-10hrs after staying awake for 2 days that wont pays off the energy lose you might lose your most red blood cells and be anemic just like our neighbor he is lack of sleep for months until sickness developed in his body he became close to lukemia, so if possible change your routine and be sure to sleep everyday atleast 6-8hours than staying awake for two days

You are wearing your self down, I would here online and I took me a nap today myself because I was really tired, from getting up this morning, it's best to get your rest, so that you can do your job, a whole lot better and you, won't be so tired.
