Game Lagging, annoying

Since I installed the University Expansion , my game have been lagging . I have never had any problem with lagging before until now . I am playing with young adult warewolves sim .
I dont really like the university , its too hard for my sims to have good grades and keep it up and still have an social life .

I am not even using up half of my computer memory . I may need the next game update normally sims seems to full of bugs .

Do you have custom content? That could be a problem as well. Also like you said, you may need to update the game. Updates for new EP's are pretty important.
