Making the most of business travel

Hello friends
As part of my profession, I travel a lot and I always try to make the most of it, apart from only delivering my objectives. I focus on exploring the country and meeting people which is indeed fun.
Do you also travel as part of your profession? How do you live this experience?

I totally agree that all business people that travel as part of their job should make the most of the destinations they go to. I was traveling in South America and up at Iguassu Falls I chatted to a British family. The dad had been on business trip to Argentina and his wife plus kids had come along. They had got a flight up to the Iguassu Falls for a few days. Well done to them doing that I had thought. I don't travel as part of my profession. Traveling is one of my top hobbies. I love to visit foreign countries.

My previous job requires me to travel. We have 4 regional offices and our main office back then is in Manila. So being the Supervisor of a certain department, my trips are already planned and spread the whole year. Which is really awesome for me because I have never been to those places before, and I don't think I'll ever be if not for the job.
