For a year a cat survived off of McDonald's food. You can read about Frankie at this link www.stuff.co.nz/oddstuff/8547489/Super-Size-Meow-cats-fried-life I'm not a cat lover, I prefer dogs better, anyway, why would some one just drop an animal off? At least the staff at this McDonald's made sure the cat was fed even though it was fast food. It's a wonder the animal lasted this long on it's own and it grew up loving McDonald's food. Wonder if this cat would have survived this long if it weren't for McDonald's?
I've heard of animals following and meeting back up with their owners after their owners had dropped them off. But apparently this cat was more interested in Big Mac and McNuggetts than finding their owner.

Some people get animals, and don't do their research. We see this at the shelter all the time, where they just drop them off in boxes at the door. I can't beleive people could be so heartless to do it. It's usually the irresponsible ones who dont get their animals fixed, breed them, and then when they get overpopulated throw them away because it's too much.

Grrrr poor Frankie, how can anyone drop off such a wonderful feline friend as Frankie...... and others want a kitty companion and cant make this dream come true, speaking of myself here as the renting contract forbids kitties in the apartment.

If they had just fed him hamburger meat and chicken, it would have been all right, but not the fries. I do not think the staff at McDonald's knew any better. After all, most of the people who work there are either students or poor people who are too busy trying to survive to know what the nutritional needs of a cat are. At least, the cat survived and possibly they did not drop it off, because they would have put the cat to sleep. I doubt that the cat had an owner. It was probably a feral cat. The way that people tame them is to put food out for them, so the cat becomes less fearful and will eventually trust humans.

Most likely, that cat felt more satisfied with the amount of food that McDonald's has provided him than his owner's.
