Some one like cats more than dogs, and some opposite. There is an statement here that people who like cats more can always take care of other people, and people who like dogs more will need others care. Do you think so, or may have other opinion with that. Thanks for your response.

I never thought that.Prior to this I was thinking Its just people's thought and nothing else. I am not interested to keep either dogs or cats in my home. But, I like and prefers cats more than dogs. Maybe that thought is right. I always takes care of my home, and always very careful when dealing with someone in the family or friends or anywhere else. I know some people who keeps dogs, they don't even cares about their mothers or home or anyone else. Maybe the opinion is right.

Thanks Deepak2j, I think that maybe just a tendency, but not very common, or it is different with individual cultures. So I believe some people who keeps dogs you refer to are minority.

I adore cats, they're gorgeous creatures - I dream about owning one...but I already have an adorable Yorkie who really, really hates cats:p My little dog is my treasure and my favorite animal in the entire world.

I don't know how true that statement is. I never even heard of it before. I myself love both. Cats can be very loving and affectionate, yet can be very independent when they want to be. Dogs, of course, can be very loving as well, but prefer to stay near it's owner's side. They crave affection constantly and rarely, if ever, want to be alone. When it came down to choosing a dog or cat for my family, it had to be a dog, hands down. However, there is one drawback. And that is dogs don't purr! Boy, how I miss that! LOL Happy mylotting!

I wish I have both, cats staying at home, and big dogs living outdoors, how idealize situation. But I am living in a building, my son is allergic with cats, and big dogs are not fit for staying in the building. That is very contradiction. hehe!

I am more like a cat lover. As I think cats are much more adorable. They will not attach you all the time as well as the dogs. Sometimes they are very independent and you have to even please them. Cats are proud animals. But I like them anyway.

I like dogs more than cats, I think dogs are more playful and they are generally not arrogant and attitude like the cats. Though, I used to have a lot of cat and I loved them. But since I moved and not having cats anymore, I started changing my preference on cat..

I like dog better than cat, the are more reliable, more smart I think, and also they all loyal to their masters.. To be honest, I don't like cats, all they can do is sleep eat, giving birth, so lazy I think..
