my 3-year old nephew is really into basketball. he has his own ball and my cousins (his uncles) often borrow it until it got a hoe on it and my nephew got no ball to play with. i really pity him because he just watches other people play. he has not ball to play with. good thing my aunt gave him a new ball. we just inflated it this afternoon and he looks happy playing with it. i swear i won't let his uncles borrow it from now on. fyi, i never was the one who lent his uncles his former ball. my nephew was the one who gave it to his uncles.

Toy for those we care only - Do not borrow toy to shameless careless people.
Your have to talk to your uncles that they are miserable scum for ruining people's property and toy. It is better to your dad together to confront these uncles which are shameless to play and ruin a child's toy. Then your can teach your nephew the value of own toy and not let people who have no intention to keep toy safe from borrowing them.

well i never talked to them about it. it's just whenever they try to borrow the ball, i don't give it to them. they were never insistent. i guess because they know i was disappointed with the lost ball.

so those uncles who were the culprit in deflating his old ball, did they ever volunteered to replace it?

I understand how you feel. It is not being selfish but rather we would just like to take care of the things that we need. I hate people borrowing things from me and never returns them or if they do return them, it is no longer usable.

glad you understood how i feel. i just pity the kid when he has no ball to play with. he can't play with the older ones since he's still small. so it's better if he has his own ball.
