Have you ever had someone be rude to you on mylot?

There was one when I was still new here. I responded to her topic and it seems that we had a difference of views and I was offended when she commented back for she pointed out that I am responding without fully understanding the topic. That was however one of the deleted discussions that I have responded.

I had a rude Aussie old punk on my back some of the time during mylotting, because i disagree with his discussion calling USA as a country that is practicing gender discrimination on women /girl in the political and economy arena, it infuriated him after i forwarded the facts in my argument for my disagreement on his claims, so the name calling began after that, he constantly called me a sexist, moron; racist, stupid etc... whenever opportunity arise. It happened couple of months ago, that is probably the only one i known of in my several years of myzzzzzlotting here. Overall, many mylotters are friendly and reasonable people, the Rudish member only make up of a few here, may around 1%-2% of the total members.

I have come across rude comments but not often its very rare on mylot . Disagree with you is not being rude its a open room for discussion and that is what a discussion is all about, different argument . Whenever I come across rude people I normally ignore them and mylot would also remove the comment .

There are much more nice and friendly members here that whenever a rude user come along he/she does not usually stay long here anyway...

I never experience this thing even at the start. I make sure to read the guidelines when I've learned that we can earn from participating in the discussion. I don't ask unnecessary questions. I make sure that if I have question, I find the answer by reading the FAQs or other discussions using the search engine. Most of the time, other members mistakenly referred an answer to a query as mean because they got reply from old members in an offensive manner. I came across several discussions like this. I am still very new here and only participated in a few discussions. But I read many discussions(old and new). So far I didn't find anyone being rude to another in mylot. I know there might be someone out there, but the number of rude people here in mylot seems way lower than any other social website I visited so far. And many senior mylotters are always ready to help newbies in understanding mylot better. This friendly atmosphere makes it easier to post here. I am very happy that I found mylot.

Not really rude, but a bit mean. Just because I have a different opinion than him/her. I was given a negative marking and that made my level dropped. At first it really irritated me, but then I thought, he/she is just one of the many nice mylotters in here and I will not let one rotten person ruin the entire experience for me.

Well if everyone here was all polite and goody , goody.. the site would be no fun at all.

Yes I have had a Myloter be rude to me, here in Mylot it was 2 Mylotters, and changed my account because of them, but I won't be doing that any more, I will stand my ground no matter if any one, be rude to me or not.

I have never had anybody be rude to me on mylot. I have only been on mylot for about 2 months now so I am a new member of the mylot program.

When I first got here, there was one person who was being rude to me. I didnt reply to his/her post, I reported him/her instead lol. Then her/his post got deleted after that ^_^
