i had a classmate(girl) she shifted to another city and so transformed she is now. . .a completely different person, wear cheap cloths, i was going through her fb id and found this in her introduction

In my own side, people change because of the environment she is living in. She might have friends who were like those in your description. We cannot do anything at all if a person change at all because we are not the ones controlling their lives. Maybe you are concerned to her that you always stay tuned to her sometimes. My advice is just keep holding onto her. Be there for her if she need a friend. Be patient to her, maybe because she need to be belong to her new society and she needed to be loved. Maybe she will realized that she was not alone that there was someone on her side helping her.

Maybe she didn't really change at all, and you are just seeing what she really is for the first time. You said you were classmates but never indicated how close you two really were back then. I know it is surprising but it may be that we really don't know the real people in the first place. A person can indeed change so much, but somehow the little that we know them of is still there somehow.
