Congress needs to be Fired!!

I have been saying this now for the last couple of years. Congress needs to be fired and younger new blood put in. Congress does not care one bit about the American people, they only care about themselves. They made that loud and clear today when they refused to pass the Gun Bill. I don't understand how they couldn't put themselves in these poor families shoes. If they lost a child or grandchild wouldn't they want justice for their kids. The President stated that its a shameful day in Washington. To me its a shameful day for the members in Congress who we now know for sure don't have a heart and don't care about the families of this nation. This congress is useless and needs to be fired!

I don't agree. When a person is in their 70's or 80's they are set in their ways and will not budge to change anything for the better. They don't like change. Younger blood are usually always willing to make changes especially for the better of the country. They have new ideas and are willing to try to new things, in my opinion.

I know he was! Also watching the family members standing next to him it actually made me cry. Knowing their child was killed along with so many more and these congressman didn't do a thing to honor them. Instead they slapped them in the face in my opinion.

I saw that. I dont like that at all. Its a law thing. Those family members didnt need to be paraded infront of the cameras.

I heard a lot of complaint about not having gotten the material in time to read it over. A lot of pork barrel things get put in with such laws.

Well the President said it all had to do with politics as to why the bill wasn't passed. Hopefully all these congressmen who voted no will get voted out come next election day.
