My mom loves to do shopping anything that she likes that not even needed,a mess cluttered all over their room and I can't take it anymore since my room next to them one night i saw a small mickey mouse run from their room and THAT'S it whatever she'll tell me I don't care. I decided to clean my parent's room today and guess what I saw a cute Yamaha piano played when being blown. ha ha and that paids of my cleaning, I decided to sell some of the items I find unimportant, a garage sale inspired by the television film Clean House. hehe and I'll be giving the money to mom, I hope she'll agree with me (cross finger)when they come home she'll probably love it! especially my dad

Having a garage sale is the best way to get rid of all the clutter. That is what I do with our old stuff as well.

You are on the right track. You see, if you wait for her approval I don't think any cleaning will happen.

I also think that you have done a good job by cleaning yourself without waiting . I think it is always good to arrange things and to keep them in order and to clean things. Good job.

hi inopiratum a medio As an elderly woman if my son had gone into my room and sold off what ht thought was not needed I would have pulled out every hair on his head. I am thinking yeah sure money is great but did you stop and think maybe some of the things you think are clutter or not needed she may just choose to keep them. Whose house is it that you can clean their room and sell their things without permission?I would be very angry iany relative of mine cam into my room and sold some of my things without even asking. Hi, Shopping can be a very addicting pastime that before you know it, the room so full of items that one can't use in a lifetime. The best remedy to that situation is, well, you said it, a garage sale. Some items can even be resell at higher price being phased out collectible items. Hope you profit more out of yuor venture and your mom would not raise a lot of fuss over her things being disposed of.

yes if you see a mouse it is time to do cleaning sorry you had to see that while I am glad that you will be able to have a yard sale wonder what your mom will say when she sees you selling off the things that she has paid for
