I used to wear bi focals but could never get used to them. The next dr appointment I had I got two pairs...one for reading and one for just seeing while I'm walking around. Every night before I go to bed and after watching tv I put my glasses in the same place on the coffeetable. I woke up this morning and went to get my glasses and they are gone! I know my lovely cats will bat around anything their not supposed to so I've been looking under everything and they are not to be found. Luckily I kept my bifocals and although the prescription is not strong enough I'm wearing them. If I didn't have some kind of glasses on I would never find the lost pair...although I still haven't found them! Has anyone ever lost their glasses? Can you see without them or not?

I never lost any of my eyeglasses.
I can still read and see without my glasses- that's for short distances.
but driving is not possible without my specs so that is the reason I am very careful where to put my glasses on to avoid losing.
I am sure your cats are too smart- oh I love cats a lot

Ha ha ha, i know the cats would have messed it up but still u should always keep your bi focals at a safer place where u can find it easily otherwise for a while you would be facing issues in searching it and you would hurt yourself since nothing would be visible to you. Besides u can have an extra pair of bi focals in case you loose the first one.

I am also using eyeglasses for reading and for treatment but mostly i use reading. And that glasses always at my eyes all the time especially if i need to read and using computers. I cant read anything without this device on my eyes. So this is very important and if i cant find this thing when i need it for sure my head will explode.

I have never lost my glasses. Thank god for this as I can hardly see anything without it.

I've been wearing eyeglasses since my 5th grade. I know exactly how it is to lose or misplace them. I have grown to be comfortable with my vision limitations. I couldn't see clearly at night without eyeglasses. I couldn't recognize faces of people when they are far from me, and I have been tagged as unfit to testify in court because I am considered legally blind...haha! But I could very well read even ghe smallest letters if the material I am reading is placed near me. I am in my forties and I still can read small letters. Through the years I have either lost or broken an eyeglass on separate occassions so I have learned to keep them safe at all times.

I have lost my glasses more than once, and just about two weeks ago, I broke my glasses. I can see without them, but it strains my eyes and it makes me feel horrible, especially at night. I'm nearsighted, so I have no problem with reading, but when I was in school, losing my glasses made grades drop. I couldn't see the blackboard clearly even if I sat in the front row.
I hate the way I have to depend on glasses at my age (I'm just 16...), and I wish there was a way to get normal eyesight again, although I don't know right now how that can be possible.

I used to wear contact eyes , it was bad , i drop them into sinks , buckets etc. Hence i opted to wear back glasses. My glasses are not bi focal , hence i wear the glasses all day long , i only take off only when in toilet taking bath. If your scare the glasses getting lost then install a string holder to hang it on your neck. Then , made sure your keep your glasses in special drawer , like your bedroom drawer , kitchen drawer and living room drawer , so will not missing.
