i am glad am now married but in the days my husband was a boyfriend it was fun to get love letters from him telling me what he felt and the dreams he had for us.i loved this especially the times he posted this letters and i got to receive mail and this are special memories that i keep so well until today,i get out once in a while to read and be happy.its sad that technology has come to take that part from today's courships, people communicate via text messages and social media and am left wondering how much you can express your feeling on such.for those of you who went through the phase of getting love letters how was it and did you enjoy that and do you have your letters among your priced treasures?

I love letters this is the romantic genre we have back then the depth of relationship indeed makes more sense I mean people treasures every words that they've written and writing from these letters. Personally, I still kept love letters I had before and still enjoying until now nothing from the technology now from my own view could replace the effort and sincerity of writing by literally mail than any online sites, Unfortunately, now a days I can say the value of relationship is depreciating based from the easy access information though it's convenient but not enough to be compared how much things much value back then

i agree it was so much easier to express your emotions on paper, there is alot of heart pouring on paper than from the mouth.if only we could retain that culture ,romance would remain at a better level.

I remember the days when i was always being sought after my classmates for me to make them love letters, lol. I was really good at it as i really know how to mix romantic lines just like the lyrics in a love song, and believe me, most of those who asked me can't thank me enough for having their girlfriends, lol...

i agree with you because i also remember a time in school when there were the authors you referred to when doing such letters there were those talented to give you the sweetest words and most romantic.

Exposing our feelings to our loved one through letters is very interesting. You keep those letters til now. That's great. That shows how much you loved your husband. You don't want to lose the letters which he had given to you. I don't have any experience of giving or getting love letter. Nowadays due to technology development, we use text messages and emails. I keep all the messages my girlfriend sent to me.

its always a treasured memory and when you have time you can go through them especially during anniversaries and such ,technology has taken away this exciting form of communication.
