Romans 8: the Carnal Mind Is Enmity Against God? then Who Created It?

G*d shaped us in our mothers' wombs, yeah? So if the mind that G*d shaped is itself enmity against G*d, who's fault is that? Or did the 'church-fathers' just put this chapter in there to make our brains dizzy and leave us obedient 'collection plate'-fillers?

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they lost perfection therefore we have inherited sin. Now we have to fight the weaknesses of the flesh.

You don't think G-d Knew what they were going to do? It seems like a set up to me.

I don't remember reading that God forced them to do it? I do remember reading that God warned them of the consequences. Genesis 2:15-17 (NWT) "And Jehovah God proceeded to take the man and settle him in the garden of E'den to cultivate it and to take care of it. 16?And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17?But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

I feel that most verses in the Bible were later written by the priests in order to control the masses. Controlling the masses was very important for the priests. Otherwise, nobody will pay obedience to the church and nobody will be under its power and nobody will give money to the church.

Funny, because Jesus Himself was against 'masses under mind-control'

I think it was nervous scholars that put this chapter in.They feared learned people it seems. I don't think G-d is This petty.

The spirit of man, has been tainted by sin. Adam and Eve, were perfect and sinless. They choose to rebel. We are, and have always had, the ability to think. As for collection plate fillers, if it does anything, it reveals the selfish nature of man. That people refuse to give even the littlest amount to anything other than themselves. The offering plate, merely reveals the truth that man is cursed it's own rebellion which reveals itself throughout our lives.

God created us, yes. But that doesn't mean he created us like robots. We can make choices of our own. We are created with complete freedom and have a mind of our own. Eve was tempted when Satan instilled doubt in her mind. I believe we cannot fathom God and we sin because we yield into temptation.

Did G*d instill within us an ability to resist temptation?

You are right.. If you notice right in d beginning god creates man wit a brain but a brain tat s not allowed knowledge... So basically god wanted t keep man n d dark and rule over him.. He got pissed wen man started thinking for himself... So the church-fathers are probably trying to bring tat back... Stop d masses from thinkin on der own and just blindly follow.

But (like Stan Lee--creator of Spider-Man--says) "with great power comes great responsibility." And knowledge is one of the greatest powers in the world---even greater than money! And 'responsibility' means that there's a job people are expecting you to do. That's why college-grads get such high incomes---because we have 'proof' that THEY know what to do with money (well, they're probably still foolish with money; but we have to believe they have the power that comes with great knowledge ) Point is, it's SO MUCH EASIER to be blameless & innocent when you AREN'T held responsible for any wrongs; and you AREN'T held responsible when you are just OBEYING THE RIGHTEOUS ONES. (Which makes 'knowledge' EVEN MORE dangerous, as it shows you what 'the righteous ones' are TRYING to obey---showing you when THEY are wrong!) Who SHOULD you obey?

Everything that God had made is perfect... but man's doing is imperfect.
