Facebook Disadvantage

Many of students now are addicted to facebook. Addiction can lead them fail on their own subjects. Facebook games is the main destructive part of facebook. Children cant study and cant focus well on their studies because of facebook,. When its time to study , they open their computers and do bad stuffs.
What do you think are disadvantage of using FB ?

That's why everytime you register in facebook they'r asking your age.. below 18 of age are not allowed to have a facebook acccount .. meaning facebook is not for kids...So if you saw kids with Fb accounts, well that's the responsility of the parents I think to disallow them to have a facebook account.

It may be right. It seems to me that people of all ages have access to facebook. I am not sure if they are all addicted to it. My daughters have facebook accounts but are not addicted. It's probably because they have other accounts as well.

I see facebook as a useless place to visit. It's nothing there but wasting my time. The scenario nowadays has changed. People love to expose everything they do everyday in social networking. They even disclose their intimate act in social networking. Facebook is one of the best place to get all the dirty stuff. Honestly, I prefer to waste my time here in Mylot instead of Facebook cause Mylot pays me to get social and all discussion has control but in Facebook there's no control on content unless there's a complaint or report. So, Facebook obviously not safe for our kids.

I totally agree- even i have been addicted to games in facebook, and it took some times to really focus on my studies. Facebook games are really huge temptations and distractions to students.. 
I do not play that much anymore.. but once i played everyday for a few months.

Ayee ayee,... i do accept on what you said, well, its not just the children , even many adults atick their heads to the facebook and completely go careless and irresponsible about their work . I have seen ppl who open facebook even before completely opening their eyes from sleep. It literally sucks the time and life from a person. Especially the tender ones, after the advent of social networking sites, kids many have stopped going out for play and roll, instead they sit socialising the virtual world which ahs nothing to give them except for eye sight and a bad score in marks :D
