One of the most popular food chains in the US is finally in the Philippines. Last January 2013, IHop opened its first branch in The Fort that definitely excite a lot of Filipinos in the metro. This morning, we decided to try out IHop and see if it's the same with the one in US. Unfortunately, it's not. The portions are nothing compared to the servings made in the US and sadly, there are a lot of restaurants offering the same menu which are much better and way yummier than IHop. Not that I won't recommend IHop but if you're willing to try it out, feel free to do it. I just got disappointed that it is nothing compared to the original IHop.

They only have one branch to date. But according to an article, IHop will soon open other branches in SM malls :)

I see.. Perhaps they tried to change to "Filipino taste"? I guess bad move because you're one unsatisfied customer.. Let me try it too, thanks for posting! :)

Probably. They made it more suitable for the Filipino appetite. I just got disappointed since the one in the US serves really good food with big servings. Though it's not just me who said that. Even my friends warned me about it but I just want to try and see for myself.

That is nice, but the truth is original remains original. There is a secret of each and only the owner knows others just a copy cut.
