howto add a profile pic in mylot?

Hello fellow lotters :) i am a new user.. and i m loving it over here in mylot... but then ive few doubts about using this, can any one tell me how to change the lotter profile pic? The default one is pretty weird though :P And on what basis are we paid for the discussions? :O

You change your avatar/profile picture from Preferences: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editcustomize.aspx
MyLot calculates earnings based on the quality of your participation over 24 hours - midnight to midnight, MyLot time (shown at the bottom). You earn for everything that YOU post. You don't earn anything for what others do (unless they are your referral).

The blogs section is a place where anyone may submit a suitable blog and the feed reader will allow it to be displayed (and commented on) from within MyLot. Bloggers do not pay and nor are they paid for inclusion in the list but any comments you leave on blogs through MyLot are included in your participation.
The 'fun stuff' currently only has games; the quiz section no longer has any content. The games are supplied by a separate company and you have to register with them and pay for games before you can earn (or rather, win) anything.
