Why do i write?

oh my oh my why do i write?
i write when i feel low, i write when i am oozing joy
i write when i merry, i write when i am out a ferry
i write about my crush, i write about my dis approvals blush
i write to my parents , i write to my matents
i write on the notebook, i write on the facebook
i write some like scribblings , i write some like expert rumblings
i write to make my heart feel light, i write to throw up a fight
i write n write n write n write till i have nothing left in my soul to shout n write
i write to know that i am alive and i write till the day i am alive

Thank you very much for sharing this, I liked it. :) I like to write poems and short stories. Mostly I suppose I like to write what might be considered "Freestyle" poetry, but sometimes I write in different forms as well, just to practice "control" and things like that. :)

Well cheers even i am a big fan o the freestyling! :) but rhyming the topic has been my best passion. Well you can post in this group so that we can witness and harness out from the fellow lotters skills and ideologies... u know each person has a unique way of shooting out topics and the uniqueness is the one which forms the decorating stone! :)

I like writing because it's my way of expressing my feelings, emotions, sentiments, etc.
I write when I get mad, I write when I'm inspired, I write when I'm sad, I write when I'm in love.
(I even write to my ex-boyfriend everyday but I didn't give him and he doesn't have any hint of it... hahaha)
Now, I am writing to my future someone and it really excites me... hihihi!
Anyway, let's get back... I like writing... I love it much! ^^

wooh... me too :D Yuh all the best with that pal! :) poems do have a very important place in forming some special impressions on ppl and especially the poems that involve pesonal shootings on someone does make wonders in sprinkling out the magic of ur expression n love! so goood luck with that to u ! :) even im on the same work too ;)

This is a beautiful poem ! I write anything what is inside my heart. I can't cook stories so i can write something . I write when the drive is there , no one can stop me not even myself when the mood together with the drive are around in me. Writing is a passion , can't be told or plan it will just come out so naturally .

Yes dear, u r so true, sometimes it so happens that i whale out around in the emptiness and when something strikes my head i get so restless to pen it down that till i do it i could hardly have a peaceful breath. not because thiat line would earn me laurels, but coz of the fear that i might loose it with time :D 'Natural urge to scribble' thats what makes you to be called as a writer ! :D cheers pen pal ! :)

writing is the most important thing that shows us many new ideas people spent their life and at the end they share their experience with lot of people to come in contact but consider writing in such a way that every person read it easily

Heeh thats a point , but writing heavy lines in simple words is an art that takes ages to master ! :D well, yuh... when one could do that hell be called a masterio i guess ;)

I love writing. It helps me pen down my thoughts, my feelings and emotions. It helps me bring out the short stories I make up in my head. It inspires me to improve every time. It simply frees my mind and the rest follows. :)

ayee ayee miss mindsalad! ii complletely agree with you! :) many a times i feel the breaths heavy if i dint pen down the heavy line that crossed my mind in a jist of a second. :P it sometimes gets impossible to to even sleep well without penning the thought down, with a fear that i would loose it out in the huge pile of mess in my head! :) And yuh it does make us improve our thoughts, makes us refine them, makes us delve in d depths thatwe never would have given a damn about :)

nice very nice...your poem touched my heart...poetry is a god gifted thing, no one can do it untill unless he dont feel something from the core of his heart..and it is not necessory what we feel we could expresss it in words,thats why i said express your feelings in words either you are doing poetry or in literature its an art..i also express my feelings in words when i see something abnormal around me.

Nice one. You have skills. I write about anything. Achievements, what I feel, what I fear. Anything that comes to mind, I write in a paper. Sometimes I also draw. I draw fair enough.

it is very nice poem. All feelings are expressed effectively by this poem. I don't have talent of writing. I write only on mylot. I don't have habit of writing anything. I think the talent of writing is gifted by God. I can not write poem like you. But I like to read the poems.

Well, thanx a lot pal! :) well, writing is few peoples masterio and reading and appreciating is fews charm.. well u posses the latter! :) Hmm but one could actually build up if not creating but reproducing out the ones we read out in a better way in our verbal communications! well Rhyming and timing that one often projects out in poems is actually a very important part of verbal attraction! it actually decorates and charms our way of speech and presentation! Thanx for the Kind pat for the worthless scribbling :) it was a mere blabber just to say hie to all my fellow mylotters who admire writing ! :)
