I can understand it getting too warm and the skies being that hot deep blue with just a pretty marshmallow cloud floating by in a light breeze in June but April ?, April 21.It must be close to 80 out there but the breeze makes it seem just right. In the mornings its still chilly and I put on my jacket but by noon I am ready to go out in shirtsleeves. Will this warmer weather last? your take mylotters. Are chilly days gone I hope ? I love warm weather but not super hot like last summer.lol I glanced outside and cannot see any alley cats so maybe they are all in some warm spot sleeping. Maybe the warm air is whats making me fall asleep at my keyboard? Also I do think some people have been rehousing some of he cat population as I have seen only a few cats now. The prettiest of them have disappeared.

Good for you. Here in my place, the weather is not so forgiving. The heat is too much to take so mostly I am indoors.

hiu yes a spark from the exhaust of an old car triggered a huge forest fire two years ago close to TustinsThe airwas just grey with smoke and ashes and hurt to breathe. We had to stay indoors and turn on oyur air conditioning to be able to breathe with out suffocating its was just awful.

Here, the rain teems down today and there is a chill in the air.April is really a treacherous month for weather.A couple days ago,The temperature reached a maximum of 30 C. Some even wore short-sleeved shirts.

hi chang its like spring again today about 70 and a light breeze with sunshine and no rain again. The dryness can be very bad as our forest lands are tinder dry and any kind of spark could start a wild fire of huge proportions and the loss of trees and homes and life stock and pets is so tragic. The signs no smoking and no campfires are up in our forests but will anyone pay any attention to them? Just a few sparks from a lit match could trigger a fire and also destroy homes too. I hope people will be more careful and we will not have those dreadful wild fires.

Good for you!You live near a forest which can purifies air.I understand what you worry about.Everyone should be duty-bound to take good care of forest.I remember you have mentioned a guy smoked there even broke off a branch.I have no use for such kind of person too.

I guess you don't want me to send the cold weather we have up here. There is still snow in the ground, and usually at this time of year, it is cool in the morning and then warms up so that you can go out with a jacket on and in the afternoon, you have to take it up. It's typical Manitoba weather. Oh the alley cats can make out okay. We still have some wooded areas around here. I also wonder if the SPCA is setting out traps or some cat hater is trapping the cats.

You have to be careful about those feral cats. Whenever we get close to one here, they run away and I think that woman was very silly and of course, sue happy, to try to approach that cat. And of course, it reacted. It is good thing that your management does not want anyone to feed a feral cat, I can think of those of the residence who are allergic to cats.

hi suspenseful no I did contact a group that rehomes feral cats and the ones now missing are the really pretty ones with purebred lines so I am hoping that that group found them homes where they were loved One funny large black cat several times walked into our dining room.the management here does not want us feeding them.Gold Crest almost was sued when a woman walking on the sidewalk in front of Gold crest building wanted to be nice to one of the alley cats. I guess she had never read about feral carts.' She really got clawed badly so she came in and the lay medical person patched her up but they brought suit and of course it was tossed ou t as the cat did not belong to Gold crest and too the sidewalk is Garden Grove property not Gold Crest. So she then brought suit against the city and the Judge tossed it out.

Hi Hatley, like you, I love warm weather and this time last week we were in the 80s, but last night and tonight we are under a freeze warning... and grandpa bob got I believe about 7 inches of snow a couple days ago..So not everyone is warm, I am lying here under a blanket dreading the cold night again..

He is on FB, I can suggest him to you if you like. Yes, this season has been really crazy too, more than usual, which fits into my book, the scene where in the early spring, it is in the 70s and then the next day, a blizzard...

hi carm o h I missed seeing granpa bobs discussion. I do wish he would post more often. At least by now it just goes to fifty but back 'February it was stuck at 32 to 43 and thats just not the usual winter weather for Southern California.Hopefully it will stay warm like this as it is spring. I feel guilty when I read how so many mylotters are still having snow and cold weather.I guess that Minnesota has the same kind of weather as South Dakota does where I was born and raised. I sure like Grandpa Bob.I shall have to look him up. Oh the thing I love about here is the nights are always cool so we sleep under a comvforter and one blanket

hi its just spring here but lovely about 70 with a light breeze. I am in Southern Calif,.b y the way,Tt sounds like you are in the Philippines where it gets pretty hot. WE have ou r hot days in Sept, August and October. since we do not get any rain in those monthgs there is a real danger of wild fires again this fall here. The signs no smoking and no campfires are already upin Californmia forests but will people pay any attention to them? Just one spark from one campfire and grass starts burning which spreads to shrubbery then to the trees. Now e have a wild fire going that can consume hundreds of acres before it can be controlled.,

Yes I am from the Philippines and your hot days which is September to October is rainy season for us. I'd rather prefer hot than rainy days for fear of flood. The worst flood we experienced last Sept. 29, 2009 which claimed so many lives was a nightmare that until now still instill fear every-time there is heavy rain.

Well, we here in WA were talking about the cooler than normal weather here, and how everyone is hurting a little ,more. Then there are states like MN where it is still snowing, so strange weather is had by most. There is rumors later this week we are going to be back around 70 which will be nice. I enjoy the weather here in the 70s and wish it would be like this all yr round.

Yesterday was the warmest day we have had this year! People were out and about making the most of it, trouble is the weather is so unpredictable, our March was the coldest on record since the 1800s! It's crazy this freak weather, so it's understandable why when the sun comes out people enjoy it while it lasts. I am hoping it continues to be warm and dry so I can start planting my veggies. I guess it's not a bad thing if the alley cats are being rehomed, at least they are getting warmth and fed!

hi wolfie I am glad too as there were some beautiful cats that someone just was too cruel to find a home for them. Its so nice here but I remember other weeks in April when i was really chilly and windy too. While in March we had no wind but cold days. I envy you as I have no place to garden and always l loved to garden too.Gardening does make you really feel good too goes it not? You sound much happier now Wolfie.

It could be that the prettiest of them are busy with families! This is kitten season and the Moms will be either nursing or finding food. Unfortunately El Nino is in, and we have either really warm summers and winters or super wet winters and mild summers. It takes a couple of years for the weather to equal out after an El Nino. I too kind of miss the cooler Aprils. I have about 4 cord of wood left from our cutting last year. Usually I have about 1/2 cord left after a "normal" winter. We only had about 30 really cold days this past fall and winter, so I wasn't busily feeding my wood stove. (My only heat for the house is wood...I can't afford propane!!! Plus I have a minimum order of 100 gallons which would eat about 55% of my income. I don't believe in supporting a company that is that profitable! I prefer having the extra funds for doing other things.) I have had the same problem with trying to fall asleep at the computer, especially when I have just gotten up from a good night's sleep. I have had quite a few days this month where I had to fight nodding off at the computer or working on the bears. I looked out this morning and knew it was going to be another scorcher. Yesterday it was 91 degrees here...and that was at 3:55 p.m.! I've had to uncover the swamp cooler earlier than other years...I don't look forward to the electric bill this month, although I get a medical discount. I do wish I had some white mohair, I tie dye it for bears. The weather is perfect for tie dying the stuff! Sigh, I'm going to have to scratch that itch and buy some the beginning of the month. That is the one bonus from the hotter weather, I can do a lot of the jobs that I can't do during rainy or cold weather. I have furniture I need to paint this week...stuff for the shop I have a space in. The other bonus from the hot weather is I can hang my clothes out to dry. I wash my blue jeans first and by the time the next load of laundry is finished washing the jeans are dry...which is in about 30 minutes!! BONUS!

maybe el nino is holding back our rain as its so dry here and yes its another lovely spring day about 75 or so without the merest of wispy clouds so no rain forecast at all.Oh 91 is really a scorcher and I am not looking forward to the dry fall with the heat up to 102 degrees at times as we have had no rain really it will be a danger this fall of bad wild fires. Some campers will still make camp fires even though signs forbid it and one spark will be enough to ignite thousands of acres of burning forest and brush.Sadly Some will always lose their homes too. They build in places where fire always seems to come as though it were inevitable.

Itrs aru nd 70 today a bit breezt but just geautifu springweather.WE are very dry thougb and wi willget no rain in August or September or October. This means our forests are tinder dryh and warnings are up; no smoking and no campfires either. I hope people will not disobey them as just one spark from a still burning match can start off a big forest fire that will generate its own heat and wind so it could take weeks to get it out.

hibunnybon oh we lived in Tempe Arizona and thats where I met my hubby. We moved to California when our son was fo ur in the year that President Kennedy was assassinated. I loved the Arizona winters but jobs were hard for my hubby to find and wages were very low. I loved the winter weather in Tempe and the people were all so friendly. Here people are not friendly until they get to know you..I met my hubby as he was the new orderly who had been sent to help me make a surgical bed for a new emergency patient just brought in., I flipped for him the minute I saw his laughing eyes and the way we good naturedly argued over whos method of making a surgical bed was the best way,.

In our country seems this week is the peak of summer. It is so hot yesterday and today. My head really is aching because can't tolerate the hot temperature. Even the water that comes out from faucet are hot. Going out you really need a hat and umbrella else your skin will be burnt. All devices that gives air are all turned on . Yes hot temperature drives us to sleep because we don't want to hang out under the very bright , angry sun.

Yeah, I felt that too yesterday. For us to be refresh,my friends and I together with my love ones went to the resort at 7:00 pm to have some swimming and we brought a lot of refreshing fruits like water melon, singkamas (turnip), mango and banana. We did sing and have fun. April month is really a very enjoying month because we can be able to do outing with our loved ones in a very hot summer.

hi kokomo I am i Southern C alkifornia and its just spring here about 70 degrees with gentle breeze and just a really lovelyh spring day,.Our hot months and dry months will be be August , Sept. and October. Our forests are very dry so fire warnings are posted along with no smoking and no campfires either. In fact please do not drive older cars in the forest as their exhausts have sometimes sparks and just a few sparks can trigger an out of control forestfire or wild fire.

It was gorgeous around here (PA) earlier in the week, but late yesterday, bitter cold winds came in and caused me earaches like I get in the winter! And it's still chilly here-I had to go out in my sweatshirt with my coat on! I'm still waiting to plant some veggies, but the weather is quite unpredictable.

hi ccorpio babes even here in southern California the weather has been unpredictable and no rain so we could be facing fall wild fires again which I really hate. But today its almost 80 with a mild breeze and its just perfect but no rain. Oh we had some sprinkles last week but they just barely dampened the ground..

Lately for us during the past 3 weeks we've had nothing but rain this is probably the third day w/o rain! I'd love it if you send some of the warm back our way here! It's nuts to be wearing winter jackets in April! March maybe but not April! It actually snowed the other day enough I had to wipe off my car to take the kids to school, at one point it was near white-out and horizontal but that lasted maybe 10-15min.

hi3SnuggleBunnies I will switch with you and send some warm air and get some rain.Last week we had a little rain for four days but it is now dusty again. California has never been know for a lot of rain but we used to get it in March and April. The last time it snowed here was 49 years ago when my son was in kindergarten. And the stuff melted as soon as it hit the ground. I do hope we do get more rain as without it the forests dry out and then we get those awful wild fires.

hi blackrusty last week we had several rainy days and it was so slight the ground is already getting dusty Of course southern California does not get a lot of rain but we sure need some. I have remembered other springs when it rained so much I was wading in water at an intersection up to my knees and this young man helped me across by hanging onto my arm. My hubby was worried as the bus was forty five minutes late due to flooded out streets so he sent our son to look for me I met Robbie as I got across the street. But the last few years haven ot been like that at all.

This month of April, bring to my reminiscence of a romantic's love song, called " April Love " by Pat Boone....April love is for the very young. Every star's a wishing star that shines for you. April love is all the seven wonders. One little kiss can tell you this is true.......Sometimes an April day will suddenly bring showers. Rain to grow the flowers for her first bouquet. But April love can slip right through your fingers . So if she is the one don't let her run away...ha ha what a nostalgia lyrics
