I am attending a week-lecture. I am expecting it to be educational and interesting.Only to find out that I know already what he is talking about and that his jokes are not that funny at all. I'm getting bored. But I can't "misbehave", you know what I mean? What's the best way to bear it all until the weekend? If you had the same experience in the past, what have you done? If you will have the same experience, what will you do?

Haha, I feel you. :) Boring lectures are the worst, aren't they? Haha. Well, if I ever get caught in a situation like yours, first of all, I would respect the lecturer speaking and listen to what he/she has to say. It can act as a refresher for you and maybe you can pick up a few new things. And if your boredom really reached its limits, take out a piece of paper and just doodle on it. It's fun and the funny thing is, you will still be able to pay attention to the lecturer. Have fun! :)

I am half way in this seminar. Counting each hour till Saturday. I am glad there are people out there who can relate with me right now. Thanks for boosting the "good" in me. I am behaving well, hehehe.

Hi fatima, i would not like to be caught in a boring lecture too, but if i were you, i would just stay in respect to your lecturer and also your co-participants. You could also give some inputs and maybe tell your lecturer that you have attended already a lecture of the same topic. You can also look for something new in his lecture or might as well assist your lecturer. Good luck.

Ah, boring lecture is the worst. I would find myself trying not to sleep during class. Or maybe yawning throughout the lecture. If I were you I will just take a piece of paper and draw/doodle in it. I love to draw so that is my way to relieve the boredom for listening to the boring lecture.
