Sometimes too much fanservice can spoil a story.

If an anime has a good story(But most anime with good story won't have too much fanservice anyway) it will be spoiled by too much fanservice. But then again anime making companies have to make a buck by selling it to lonely otakus. But then again I hardly watch anime anymore, I already migrate to Japanese Live Action movies or dramas. (They have better written characters especially female characters compare to anime or manga)
