I just came back from the supermarket to buy some of my bath essentials.I was on a tight budget and that I am saving some of my money for future use with my friends hahaah. But when I arrived at the supermarket and saw the merchandise on the shelves I just can't help it but to get a piece of a product and then put it on my shopping basket hahahaha.I got myself a shampoo ., conditioner in a sachet and in twelves so that I don't have to go back to the supermarket whenever I ran out of it.I have facial wash, bath soap, deodorant, lotion ,cologne etc. I have php1,200 plus on my wallet and when I went to the cashier to pay I knew the total amount would be more than php 500 and I was right it cost me a whooping php 715.55 hahahaha I never really thought prices are higher these days .I never noticed that when I still have work., whenever I will go to the supermarket I just get what I need and put it on the shopping basket.Prices of products these days are way too expensive how about you fellow lotters did you experience something like what I have experienced a little while?

Hi tipay26! Before I also buy those shampoo and conditioner in sachets but when my sister advised me to purchase toiletries in huge bottles because we can save more on that, I stopped. Hehe. I purchase liquid bath soap instead of bar soap so I can maximize the use of it. Normally bar soap when there's 1/8 left of the size, we just stop using it because it does not function well. I buy a separate shampoo and conditioner because when it's mixed, it tends to damage my hair. I can save more buy using shampoo every other day and conditioner every other day too. For deodorant, I prefer using powder or tawas. I believe that deodorant stick is cancerous although there's no direct proof about it yet. I think it's because it blocks the armpit from secreting sweat/toxins and the presence of Paraben. I don't use cologne, I apply perfume (Just 1 to 2 spray is enough to last all day). Sometimes I skip using any perfume. I normally bring 1000 or 2000 as my budget. Have a nice day!

Oh yes, just came in from the mall. I need to buy beauty essentials because I already run out of stock. Being an office girl, it is necessary that we always look presentable. Well, we cannot anymore do anything to lower the price. But we can always think of new ways to get additional income. Have a great day!

I don't buy groceries or shopping, my wife do that for me. I accompany her sometimes, and she will tell me that an item is cheaper somewhere. I am surprised that she can remember the prizes for each product.

It happens to me a lot of times. Even if I have my grocery list, and with corresponding budget, I still go out of my way. It's really tempting to get things from the supermarket shelves. And I can't help to be tempted because I can justify to myself that I needed those things. hahaha... well sometimes maybe self-discipline really is the key...

Its better for me to use the bath tools of my friend's. Whether it is a shampoo, hand wash or soap. He never scold me for that.

Toiletries and stuff are usually those that can put a big dent on our shopping budget. Well, that's what I've noticed. Like a bottle of shampoo cost almost the same as a kilo of chicken. Bath soaps aren't cheap also. I do my grocery on a weekly basis, so I'm sort of used to the movement of prices. Plus I really look at the price of the things I put in my cart. That way I won't go over my budget

That always happens to me. I would calculate it in my mind as i get the item and in the end would estimate it to be like this, but would be surprised that it is a hundred or 200 hundred more! Oh my, those bath essentials can sometimes be so tempting!

No, it's not the little stuff that I spend money on. I spend it on clothes. Fortunately most of the things that I purchase make me happy so I never have to return them. Once in awhile when I like an outfit that I really adore, if it needs to be altered a little, I'll purchase it, then go to a dressmaker to have it altered. I'm generally very pleased with the clothes that I buy.

prices have really gone up during these past few years. whenever i go to the supermarket on a tight budget, i always add the prices of the goods i have with me to avoid not having enough money to pay. it happened to me once i was teribly embarrased. i was relieved that i had my ATM card with me. it's a visa electron and i could make purchases with it.
