my boyfriend promise me to love me forever but promise is made to be broken?

my friends and some people says that promises is made to be broken so meaning its impossible to honor once promises.do i have to take my boyfriend promise .this coming next month is my flight to Canada and it takes many years before we see each other again and prove the promise will be honored.my friends said that once you far away to in each other the relationship will gradually lost in love.I am afraid if my boyfriend will do find other here in philippines while i am at canada .but i always believe that my boyfriend is loyal to me .he gave me already a ring bearing his promises and i have to think positive .how about your opinion?can you share?i know some of you had experienced like my situation.

a long distance relationship is hard to maintain but it isn't impossible. if you trust your BF and you know that he loves you, then you will be able to make it. don't mind what the others are saying. although some long distance relationships have been broken, others have survived.

thank you for your response , YOUR RIGHT ,even though its a long distance relationship it will survive and keep our promises because i love him and i trust my BF.

trust is the foundation of relationship.it matures with time.u shd trust in each other n keep promise from ur side.fear s lack of luv.

yes thank you exactly have the point ,lack of trust is lack of love so to build true love i must build and give trust to each other to measure our strength in love between him and me.
