Yet another miraculous escape, God surely smiled on me again!

So needing more storage space I purchased a mobile site office. It took about an hour to get there and the chap said it towed well so I paid him and hitched to my truck. Towed it up to the M25 ok and the set off down the motorway at about 50mph, just got the the first junction the trailer became unstable, snaking horribly. I accelerated slightly and put my hazard lights on. Mild acceleration should prevent the snaking but instead the trailer flipped onto its side and slide round 180 degrees. Being wider and heavier than the Land Rover it lifted the back wheels off the ground. So now I am sliding backwards down the M25 with an audience of 3 lanes of stopped traffic, all of which had fortunately seen the trailer snake and so no one was hurt. I felt for a moment a desperation, unable to think of anything I could do and offered up a desperate short prayer, of the kind even atheists are inclined to make in emergencies. A grab loader in the stopped traffic pulled forward and dragged the trailer into the hard shoulder and the incident patrol appeared and set up cones across two lanes allowing one lane to resume. Within a minute a lorry recovery vehicle appeared and without asking for payment lifted the truck back onto its wheels. I replaced the fuses, affected a temporary repair to the trailer electrics and set of once again, not daring to exceed 30mph. Soon I was pulled up by the police and taken to a inspection station. The ministry examiner found I had not secondary coupling as it had been torn off in the accident, I found a clamp in my truck and reattached it. He then decided that the tyres were perished but the police decided to let me go. I pulled into the service station to have a cup of tea and when I cam out I had a flat tyre in the truck. I drove slowly to the petrol station and bought some spray foam to re-inflate the tyre. I set off once again at 30 on the M25, not a recommended experience with irate truck drivers hurtling past, having come across a slow vehicle unexpectedly What should have been a 3 hour trip took 7 hours. Great is his faithfulness but I am cautioned it is not wise to rely too much on his mercies! And you, how much do you trust and how much is that trust rewarded all the best, urban

First you load a shed, and now you almost shed a load!

What an experience! I might be able to top it, but I won't try. I have found that the older I get, the more I trust Him. I think it's partly because I have to, not being able to do the things I used to do. If I have to drive in bad weather, He is the only thing that gets me through, and things like that. It's also partly because He has proven Himself over and over, that He will never let me down. The circumstances might seem pretty bad, but He has always brought me through and I have no reason to think that He will decide differently. He brought you through, too. Just think it if had not been for His mercies! You could have totaled the trailer, caused a big pile up and maybe have been injured yourself; it could have cost you a lot to get it up righted and back on the road.

Your day wasn't dull was it? You can always trust in God's mercy, you just need to be listening when He speaks to you, like a trailer snaking horribly.

first, I am so glad that you were not hurt in an accident but enough things happened to you to make the trip disastrous. I am sure that God was looking out for you. I think that I trusted God more when I was younger. This is my sad reality that although I am grateful for my life being spared and did pray to him - I am having a crisis of faith. I had a deep personal relationship with Jesus that I appear to have somewhat lost. I am hoping to go on a Retreat where in the calm and peaceful environment with like minded people and spiritual advisors I will find Him again in a more meaningful way. Every blessings
