His brief career isn't often mentioned. He wrote and produced over 600 songs including several #1 hits in the late 1950's/early 1960's. "Have I The Right", "Telstar", "Johnny Remember Me" and "Just Like Eddie" are a few. In 2008 a biopic was made about the life and death of the producer/songwriter and introduced Meek's music and influence to an entire new generation. There is also a great documentary about him available on youtube and other internet video sources.
